- We spent 4 days to explore Black Forest (Schwarzwald) in southern Germany. The area is camping friendly and can be reached by car easily. It is a perfect road trip holiday destination. 😀

The wonderful places that we visited:
• Baden-Baden: a charming and famous spa-town on the edge of Black Forest, a perfect gateway to the area
• Schwarzenbach: a dam and a lake, a popular scenic spot in northern Black Forest with walking trails
• Mummelsee: a very scenic small lake high up in the forest amid pine trees, steep in folklores
• Allerheiligen waterfalls: a cascade of falls nestled in a deep valley in the middle of the forest with walking trails, located right to a monastery ruin
• Wolfach: a small town in central Black Forest with a pretty town center, rich in history from Black Forest's logging past
• Triberg: a very popular town in Black Forest, located right next to Triberg waterfalls (the highest waterfalls in Germany, consisting of multiple cascades in a valley with a walking trail running next to it, entrance fee €6 (Jun 20)), and home of Triberg-Land (an exhibition of miniature landscape with model trains, entrance fee included in the waterfall's ticket)
• Titisee and Schluchsee: popular lakes in southern Black Forest, with plenty of walking trails water activities on offer
• Feldberg: the highest mountain in Germany outside the Alps area, plenty of walking trails in the area, home to a ski resort and an old glacial lake Feldsee nearby

Thanks for the tour, it looks a lovely place for some trail runs & that cake looked awesome!
Our pleasure. Hope you enjoyed the video. 😀 Indeed, black forest is a lovely place and running in this place must be wonderful. If you are into long distance trail, the Westweg trail runs all the way from the north to south through the Black Forest 😍😍
@@Onebackpackeach I'll Google it, it sounds perfect 👍
Great! 😀😀😀
My wife told me that when she was living at the Feldberg as a child, there was still snow on the top in August.
Wow, really? In August? How times have changed now, it was completely snow free when we visited in June 😕 must've been a pretty sight to see snow on top!
Wadaw mantap tempat nya...👍👍👍

Great footage, overall - but your audio of both of you could have been louder and clearer, so I could hear what you were talking about - I had to strain to hear you!
How much does camping cost?
(WOW - ~ $71 to go to the park and visit the waterfall, however beautiful !!!! 🤯
Thank you, and I hope you both enjoyed your trip!
Thanks for the feedback.. indeed we had some trouble with the audio and we should've spoken a bit louder 😬😅 it's something that we tried to improve in our newer videos 🙂🙂
Anyway, camping there and in Germany in general cost about 20-25 euro per night for two persons in a tent and a car. I'm pretty sure it costs more (maybe around 30euro) if you come with a mobile home or caravan 😅
And to visit the waterfall (I assume you mean Triberg waterfall), it costs 6 euro per person, not $71 😅😅
@@Onebackpackeach THANK YOU - For your answers!
Safe and enjoyable travels!
You are most welcome 😀😀 Enjoy your day as well and stay healthy 😁
Where can people camp in the near area?
Hi, there are quite a number of camp sites spread around the black forest area. I usually try to search for 'camping' in google maps to find out the nearest one 🙂🙂
