Have a great day everyone! Last upload from this home, couldn’t leave without it being done.. This next house takes the cake for nicest I’ve seen documented (framing-wise) on UA-cam. Cannot wait to get it going, so many different details and things to explain! BANG ON!
My vote is for a combo - perhaps an in-depth tutorial on one aspect that is illustrated nicely in the next build. Then regular build series style for the rest. Thanks for sharing - love watching the videos.
I vote for more detail throughout the job build with a recap or time-lapse video at the end of the project. Perhaps you could collect questions along the way and do a Q & A episode at the end. Thanks for the great content.
I agree with the combo! A walk-thru of anchor hold downs based off the plans and plate layout and engineering. Would love to see your approach to how you decide your thru-walls and sheathing walls that lap the rim vs sheathing walls to plate height before standing. Thanks Matt.
I would love more videos that explain how you do things and fewer time lapses. I love seeing a job come together, don't get me wrong, but I would love more tutorial-style videos! love all your content! keep up the great work!
Nice series, enjoyed watching it. Bring on the next. Thank you for taking the time to vlog, edit and upload. Very happy to just watch you progress the job each time. 👍👍 Bring on the next huge project 😁😁😁🏴
Honestly, I think tutorial videos are nice, but you can’t get enough of the build series! Tutorial and Build Series 🙂 call it the T & B Series! Just a thought.
Looks good as always, you guys make it look so easy. Sometimes I wish I could give 2 thumbs up. Cant wait for the next project build series. Bang on Brother! 🤘
Let’s go! Glad to see some new material look forward to the build series. Hard to say what to look forward to. How about some tutorial and lots of videos. Sounds easy I know. Really appreciate and enjoy your series. Keep on banging brother.
I'm voting for the more tutorial since "getting ready" is always the hard part - getting your stuff in order about how to handle it and looking for difficulties and solving them before getting to them. This is a massive project that will involve a lot of banging, leaving little room for talking. But a tutorial guide would be a great help.
Great build. And the new projekt is gonna be just as great. A build Series would be fantastic. And if you throw in some tutorials along the way on why you did this and that the way you do, would be awesome. Se you in the next build. Bang On
Hi im new to your channel.. i came across to your channel because i was looking how to build a 20x20 simple garage and found you videos you make such a great videos I’ve been watching your past videos to catch up to date . .. im a floor covering installer and im starting to like alot the frame and carpenter .. thanks so much for sharing your talent and skills . Did that detail just get lagged through the back of the osb or was there additional wood support back there? Like the details and the hidden application very cool. Thanks Chuck
I showed it on the other video where we built this same style trellis. It's got 3x6 blocking all over the backside, with 6" / 8" / 10" SDWS screws holding it all together from the back.
Hello Matt. That home looks awesome!! Kudos to the build team. Looks like the next project will be a huge home. I enjoy both building and tutorials. Need a blueprint before you can build so why not call it the Tutorial and Build series. T & B for short. Enjoy the day. Ray L
I like both aspects. As others have said, show us once and then time lapse it the rest. That way we get the full view of the process. Pretty much what you have been doing...
In the words of the great Ham Porter " You're Killin' 'Me Smalls ". Love watching your videos dude keep up the great work. But you need to hurry and make some more long content brother. I'm tired of my 6 year old, Yep you heard right, my 6 year old constantly coming to me to ask me if you have more videos we can watch together. He loves watching all your videos and how you do work. Anyways brother, stay safe and keep doing great work!!!
I just found your channel, I admire your work ethic. Reminds me of the days of the 80s early 90s before mexicans labor and cheap wages went into effect, the nafta codes. Good Work, may you always maintain straight lines. What took you so long?
@@MattBangsWood Im just watching your video. Awesome work. Btw Im actually studying to become a remodeling contractor for entire homes. Actually a bit envy that you can work on lockdown but best of wishes for you and your family and crew 😀😎

I agree with the combo! A walk-thru of anchor hold downs based off the plans and plate layout and engineering. Would love to see your approach to how you decide your thru-walls and sheathing walls that lap the rim vs sheathing walls to plate height before standing. Thanks Matt.
Tutorial is a benefit for all plus it’s fun

Hey Matt love Watching your UA-cam Channel
Do you use a medium crown stapler for sheething
I like both aspects. As others have said, show us once and then time lapse it the rest. That way we get the full view of the process. Pretty much what you have been doing...
I prefer to see the actual building of the house. Men at work.
Just curious, do framers our there not do the house wrap?
Is the idea of the corbel back plate ending up flush with the final siding?
Do the 3 options!!!! 😅 greetings from Oxnard!

Hi Matt, can you please mention the dimensions of all woods you used for walls and roofs.
I just found your channel, I admire your work ethic. Reminds me of the days of the 80s early 90s before mexicans labor and cheap wages went into effect, the nafta codes. Good Work, may you always maintain straight lines. What took you so long?
