Thanks for the video! Mine was in my drawer for about 14 years. Recently I got interested in watches and unearthed it, realizing it has zero scratches unlike my other timepieces, then found 'sapphire' is written on the face. And yeah, it's so boring with the original bracelet, and so much more interesting in natos and leather as well.
Yeah, it's a lovely watch. The metal bracelet it comes on is too busy, as is the other metal bracelet. My favourite strap for it is the black nylon one you have it on in your '37 Watch Collection?' video. It'll look great on any black strap, as well as the Bond Nato. Thanks again for introducing me to this watch...
A very good looking watch and goes well with all of those different straps! Love the channel, where are you from? Keep safe and keep the videos coming please!
@@matejsvigir1449 I am not 100% sure, but from my experience it is just the thing of sapphire. Unless that sapphire has some kind of an anti reflective coating, like most addiesdive watches, that helps.
@@jamesmay5088 I bought it because it is similar to my MTP 1128 from 2000 and solves the issues of that one. This is stainless steel, 1128 is coated brass, this has sapphire glass, 1128 has mineral glass, this has screw back, 1128 doesn't have, this has more reliable buckle, 1128 broken its buckle after 4 years.

they are getting difficult to find, I think Casio does not make them any more.
@@TomasWatchReviews I just found a new one on ebay for £35, and have purchased it...
@@kevinhaynes9091 wonderful

thank you. Lithuania
Приветствую! У меня такие тоже есть, только с серебристым таблом. Суперские часы, я тоже их люблю👍
Дякую, брате! Чудовий огляд годинника.
I'm getting one... or two :D
Silver and Black!
I am thinking about getting silver too.
im thinking a navy blue leather strap would look sick
С кожаным ремешком 👍👍👍
Can you please explain why you prefer black over blue dial with this particular watch? tnx for you explanation
I like them both. But black is more universal, works with more straps.
I have this beauty with blue dial on thin black rubber band/strap , if only i could show you somehow, i would like to know your opinion...
btw, that black thin rubber band is from some random old CASIO digital watch, my jeweler suggest it to me :)
is the bezel actually stainless steel and not just ion plated?
I believe it is stainless steel too. I have brushed one off, it was the same as the rest of the case.
You dog frightened me haha
where did you purchase the alternative bands?
aliexpress
So what is the straps' width sir? 20mm?
20mm
What is Casio's current version of this watch? Can not find it anywhere.
there is no new version sadly.. Try looking on amazon.co.uk they still have it sometimes.
Did you ever think about buying new sapphire glass at your local watchmaker for this watch? (one which doesnt get dirty so often)…
nope.
I understand because of price but on the other hand you would be then in peace regarding cleaning everytime.. for the next 10, 15 years :)
@@matejsvigir1449 all sapphires are like this. Its just the black dial that makes everything very visible on that sapphire.
Really? I honestly didnt know that , i have blue dial and thought that this particular casio model has some lower quality sapphire glass…

hey there, whats the size of the band / strap -> 18 mm?
20mm
@@TomasWatchReviews perfect, thanks a lot!
Is it true stainless steel or coated brass?
It is true stainless steel)
@@jamesmay5088 I bought one (for $40) but that strap is crap. 20 years ago Casio made very good quality cheap watches, now not so much.
