- I finally got to film some reactions to my 400 horsepower Turbo LS VTEC Civic. It was so fun to see my friends and family experience the Turbo Civic. I advise all of you guys to go for a ride in a Turbo Civic at some point in your lives. It is a terrifyingly fun experience. Thank you to everyone for participating and reacting to the car. Building and driving this Turbo Civic has been an extremely rewarding experience. VTEC just kicked in yo.

John you DEFINITELY need a harness bar and harnesses
You have a good point about his safety but That would be less safe unless he had a roll cage also. Plus he would have to change his seats to non reclinable to use a harness.. I know people do it with reclinable seats buts it’s just for show because those seats are designed to work with oem belts. All oem safety features work in unison.. if you change one then you need to change them all to match. Seats, belts, and structure of the car(cage)

The first video I saw of your build was the price of the total build and you’re absolutely on point. Could’ve been more expensive if your turbo, manifold and clutch would have been better quality. You would have maxed out your injectors and made infinite amounts of power. Great to see a regular dude accomplish greatness. You motivate a bunch of us that normally wouldn’t dare to attempt this such feat. I definitely subbed and look forward to seeing your great content.

Boosted John Budget build, Dseries, D16y7 block D16y8 head, upgraded fuel pump, ebay turbo, debating on installing 750cc injectors already have them. Nothing too fancy but finally got the chance to build my own boosted car.

I wouldn't say budgeted... I'm not hating, and I love his build but if budget is your number 1 there are way better ways to get it done. I'm a few weeks away from a 450whp (hopefully) fully built lsv turbo, and start to finish including the cost of the car I'll be about 6-7k in, I'll have an exact number after the tune

Nice vid, also on my opinion, any car that's 280hp above I basically consider them fast tbh, not fast fast, but good enough to your liking.

I have a Honda prelude with an h22 motor in the car, I want to turbo it but I am having a hard time finding information about parts I need to get it done. I know need hondata, fuel injectors , fuel pump, turbo manifold, turbo, waste gate, bob, etc. Do you have any recommendations on what parts I should use and I how I could possibly get a sponsorship on any of these expensive parts, thanks.

I have a d16z6 on 19psi making around 400whp. Car weighs 2120 pounds. She fun. Just like yours spins in 2nd wants to spin in third but doesn't and she flying.
