One of my favorite /farm runs is thru Gryvvers Mill into Dark Vale Village. On average I get 2 Totems, Cthonics and finish off with Zarria!! On Ultimate I think I have gotten more random legendaries than any of my other farm locations. Only other spot tor farming is Ancient Grove. But for different reasons. I am definite skered... watching you play a semi squishie build with high dps .. Have not reached that point yet where I am comfortable running a character like that.
Spellbreaker is lowkey undderated class imo. Ever since CT got a buff, 2 Handed Cold Callidor's Tempest Spellbreaker is really fun to play. Unfortunately 2 handed cold weapons are rare in this game, with little support to CT while levelling.
It is viable. Melee Spellbreakers will dual-wield, for a caster it doesn't matter so much. I'm not hitting things with weapons, so a sword or a shield is the same to me and this shield has really good bonuses to the spells I'm using.

Yes, this is one of my farm routes as well, for all the reasons you just stated.

I think Alkamos has a nice 2H cold weapon. Not sure it works great with Callidor's though.
