Wow! Warms my dang heart to wake up and see so many people enjoying this. It took around 30-40 hours to make and it’s amazing to have that effort appreciated. Consider sticking around! There’ll be more animations to come as well as a wide variety of other things. Thanks for watching and love you!

@@Madtown457 saw that video right after this one lmao
And they didn't attack. Infact, they might've given him a quest
It shows who is an enemy to themselves
One of the most hilarious things in this video is that the villager just starts crying without changing his mannerisms, without taking his hands out of his pockets - he just straight out openly starts sobbing. Nomal people would wipe their tears or nose occasionally, or do ANYTHING with their hands, but this guy seems so comfortable just standing there, crying. Not ashamed to truly express his sorrow.
A pillar of masculinity
Besides, moving too much breaks the tool the animator uses. Lol Everytime they move you can see some corruption in the lines.

@@CJamgochian I am almost certain that they might've used *EBsynth,* at least that's what it looks like to me. The little artifacts prolly wouldn't exist in that form if it was rotoscoped.
It's a really damn cool program that uses AI to grasp an artstyle that you define, by editing 1 or multiple reference frames of the video with photoshop for example. The program then proceeds to apply that same artstyle to the rest of the frames of the video, taking depth and complicated factors into account to a degree that it's super impressive, for freeware that's relatively accessible.
Can only recommend to look EBsynth up, it's really fascinating and there's alot of cool stuff to be found on the internet, that involved EBsynth.

I love the idea of an RPG starting in a town just completely void of problems. All the goats are safe in their pen, nobody is having relationship issues, the king doesnt really have any problems with any other kingdoms, all of the dragons are slain, there aren't any children stuck in wells, all is good. Yet, despite this, the player still fucks things up thinking its a normal RPG game and ends up killing a bunch of innocent people then feels bad about it when he hears about the truth
You either die an adventurer,
or live long enough to see yourself become the villain
But, this guy turned into a villain real quick!

Not if you murder the consequences.

@Source Dasher not exactly for this case though. Had been is the past perfect participle for has/have been.
Has been - 3rd person singular

Had been is referring to something that started in the past and also ended later in the past. Any case, singular or plural.

I don't think there was a joke there, it looked like he was just slightly scrunching his face and the animation style makes the expression look a bit ambiguous.

When actions in a game actually have consequences
Such a little detail, but I like after 0:46 when the father says "No, not very corrupt" about the king. It feels so realistic in a way, like "Yeah, we know the king is somewhat corrupt, like that's almost unavoidable with people with such power, but he's not _very_ corrupt, like, we can _live_ with the amount of corruption there is in the kingdom. Like, it's not so bad that it's worth overthrowing the king and risking a bloody civil war and a period of unrest in the power vacuum that follows. It's a _moderate_ amount of corruption that makes this a situation to just live with."
*elder ring laughing* YOU THINK YOU CAN BEAT ME

This actually touches on something I wondered since I was a kid- if "mythological creatures" like ogres, trolls, 'ghouls,' etc. were actually just people with deformities, mental handicaps, other conditions, autism, etc. that just appeared bestial due to their bodily neglect and/or noises while living in the forests, swamps, wilderness for shelter. They could have gotten lost out there, abandoned there, or were kicked out of their villages, but just think late at night while you're on horseback if some human-like figure comes at you making horrible sounds and then you get a look at them and their teeth are screwed up, they smell (from the wilderness), etc, you're going to think they're a monster when they may actually have just been a neglected human with a disability trying to get help. Sad to think about, but I wouldn't have doubted this to perhaps be an explanation for the legends about these creatures.
Interestingly, we do have evidence that neurological conditions such as autism gave rise to myths of 'changelings'. When babies who seemed normal turned out to be mentally dysfunctional, it would seem to anguished parents as if their 'real child' had been snatched by fairies, replaced by something not quite human. Nowadays people don't believe in fairies, so they blame vaccines instead.

I like that when you watch the video a second time the millions of Marshall posters are suddenly immediately apparent, lol. Nice attention to detail. But then everything about this video is fantastic.
This is the point where you start your evil playthrough
Nah, this is when you restart your play-though and do it right. The evil playthrough comes after completing the Moral run and starting New Game + with all of your OP gear!
When i try to roleplay an evil character i just end up twisting logic into excuses to help everyone.... i just cannot help it... I cannot roleplay evil unless is against a greater evil.
Marshall is a direct reference to the last rat in Oblivion’s tutorial. While not hostile and quite harmless actually, this one final rat is killed in cold blood because the player has already killed so many ghouls, rats, and zombies.
A game where doing everything they tell you to do makes you worse and worse off has serious potential. Only dead fish go with the flow, as they say.
Adventurer: "Marshall is no longer with us.."
Kind townsperson: "Of course he's not, that's what the poster is about; can you read? If not we have a great school in town."
"Marshal... is no longer with us." That line is so rediculously funny for some reason

This legitimately happened to me in Oblivion. One of the Fighters Guild quests ask you to exterminate rats in an old ladies basement. And now this video pops up! I'm now having flashbacks of rats being slaughtered in that dungeon.
And now THIS!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? this game is going to put me in the funny farm quicker than you can say "a messenger passes by and hands you a note"!!!
No, this did not happen to you. I am actually replaying Oblivion right now, and I just finished this quest a few days ago. At no point are you told to eliminate the rats. It is called "a rat problem" and meant to be ironic. The woman even tells you to save her babies. Not only do you lack reading comprehension, a basic requirement to play this game...you also failed to notice the rats don't attack on sight like every other enemy. You didn't even mention the mountain lion eating them. The situation, once you come upon it, is extremely obvious.
@@JustSomeKittenwithaGun You must be a real blast in social settings...
