Infiniti G35 or G series is a Skyline. In Japan, Nissan has these vehicles named as Skyline under their Nissan brand.

I still love my G35 coupe and I've had it for a decade.
Nice to get some recognition in a positive manner. My 1st import car purchase from a lifetime of GM and life happening. I bought a G 6 years ago exposing me to a different car culture and new ways to enjoy cars and many new friends. My 1st impression was a fun/nice car thats not bad to work on. I still wonder why they arent more popular than they are.
I had 3 Gs, 2 G35s & 1 G37S. Im a truck / SUV guy mostly now, but I remember these cars fondly. Especially for as cheap as they were. Perfect first car for the broke enthusiast who needs a daily but still wants to be able to have fun.

I loved the G35 Coupes from the moment I laid eyes on one leading me to owning a Q60 RS. The amount of compliments I get while driving it are crazy, and its possibly because they didn't sell/make alot but I find it a great successor to the G35.
Back in 2003 I was driving to work on I-5 south bound and this silver Ferrari 360 Modena passed doing about 120mph right behind the Ferrari was a silver 911 Porsche as the cars passed me up on my burgundy 1991 Ford escort lx I saw something silver behind my center rearview mirror it was something way slower but yet very cool I couldn't identify this make and model but it was doing about 100mph way behind the silver Ferrari and Porsche it was the Infiniti G35. I went to work wondering what was the slow silver car. it was slow but beautiful 😍. I was determined to find out. Few months passed I failed to identify the make and model then I finally saw one at a Safeway parking lot where the store manager owned one in Caribbean blue. I knew it then I had to get one Infiniti G35. It took another year before I purchased a black 6mt g35
Bro I was a Honda kid growing up in the 1990s in mid 2k I was at a gas station fueling up at like 3am and herd a wonderful exhaust deep toned like the perfect sound lol and as the sound came closer and I was still getting gas the G35 passed by and my friend I fell in love and started looking for a G sold the civic and an accord I had 6sp coupes for a 04 6sp G coupe brembos and all I still have it today asa matter of fact I just purchased a 06 6sp coupe salvaged the motor was done I actually just bought a revup engine took a while to find one and it still needs body work but I now own 2 G35 coupe’s! Like these cars so much it keeps me busy super cool hobby bro love the G keep up the awesome work! I’m in Newyork folks are into the high end cars out here but I stick with the Simplistic G easy to maintain and fun to drive never selling lol 🤙🏾👏🏾 God bless and stay safe brother

I have an Q50A 3.7, and it's an Amazing machine the VQ is an awesome work of engineering
Having driven my dads 03 loaded brembo manual g35 coupe as my first car back in 2011…I still have a spot in my heart for this car, it’s Lowkey one of the reasons I enjoy my e92 m3 so much these were great cars and even challenged the holy grail e46 in stock no comp form
I drive a lightly modified 2008 G37 S. My best friend drives an unmodified 2011 G37 X. Both cars have ridiculously awesome handling and performance. Mine has over 120,000 miles and Zero maintenance issues or lights on its dash unlike a lot of the newer cars I see at work everyday. These Skyline 370 GT coupes are definitely some of the best ever built.

Love my V35 350GT Skyline. Drive it once a week just to have some fun between the boring daily routine in the Tacoma.
Those G35 coupes were built like tanks…heaviest doors out there haha. Seriously though a very nice ride

They sell carbon fiber doors for them but it cost like $2,805.00 .

Hey Ideal, check out the very first Skyline that was made by "Prince Motor Company" in the mid 1950s, it came out as a luxury sedan and the coupe wasn't made for a few years, could we see a video on that please?
Plus, the v/g35 with the 2.5lt engine, when they did testing in real world conditions with different drivers, traffic and weather, the car drove for 1,024.4km with the VQ25HR engine
I got my 06 infinity g35 coupe in 2020 its a great daily have a intake plenum spacer and invidia gemini exhaust sounds great, fun and reliable

Didn't expect this to be about Infiniti's, but as a '13 G37 Sedan owner it's easily the best car I've ever had the pleasure of owning.
Same. I've owned 335i, 987 Boxster, MX5, and driven many other cars, I don't ever plan to replace my g37 IPL. It's been rock solid for 150k miles and had no issues on the track at Thunderhill as well. It's fantastic. I just wish it came with a gtr engine lol

Infiniti is Nissan and in Japan the Skyline stayed a Nissan. In the States it became an Infiniti

I have a 37X sedan, such a good car. Reliable, good power, great in the snow no complaints.

Hey, how’s everybody doing? I know this is gonna sound out of place. But I just started getting into infinity. I have a 2008. And I just got some straight pipes put on. And I got the cats removed. Even if I replaced the O2 sensors, regardless of the fact, I would still have a check engine light because of me not having any cats correct? I’m just trying to reach out to the community to hear everybody’s opinions.
Finally. Ive been waiting on this one. G35 is the best lookin one imo. Just wish it had the VHR instead of DE. In love with these cars 🩵
Plan on swapping a VHR in my G35 coupe when the motor goes out and or swap a VK56 V8 from a Nissan Titan cause I can’t think of any other modern car that has the looks and timeless design that benefits from a motor swap besides perhaps other JDM cars like 300zx and the RX7

Honestly, I have a new found love for this car.Not that I ever hated it.I just didn't know really anything about it but finding out that it is basically a combination of the skyline and the 350z Which are two of my favorite niece on models Puts this car up a notch in my book😊 I do wish that they would have used an inline six engine though I suppose it probably could be swapped with the RB26 or something along that line

I'm litterally weighing up whether i buy a 2016 350GT hybrid or a 2016 M Sport 330e PHEV atm... power, low fuel cost and good reliability. they both drove great and look great.. and im still not sure which i like.

If I lived in a place that didn't get snow, I'd absolutely have one of these. But since I do live in a place that gets snow, crossover SUVs or wagons are the vehicle of choice.

In my opinion they're underrated, and not just cause I own one? it's kinda looked down at like the r33, the r33 gtr is dope, but the gtr r33 gts 25t was looked down at, it's still turbo and still has power, well the same with the g35, sure it's NA but it's still pretty fast considering today they're stock and can still beat newer cars, they're still pretty quick considering they're going on 20 year old cars, but I feel they're skylines, they're not fake because In Japan it is a skyline, so it's not fake it's a good car and it still has power, sure newer cars beat it, but look at the q60s it's fast, back then that's how the g35 had it's fame it was fast at its time and still right still hauls, overall? I feel the g35 is a great car!!

Nissan might call it a skyline in Japan but it’s really not no matter what the marketing department may claim as it was never engineered under the same development code as previous Skylines R32-R34.
In the late 90s Nissan realized the 300Z and 300ZX had become far too expensive to develop for and too luxurious to really be a true sports car and not truly appealing to either market.
So they made the smart decision of splitting off the luxury version of the car into its own product , the 350Z would be the affordable sport car version and the G35 would be the more luxury focused entry and BMW fighter while allowing Nissan to share a development budget with the Z and offset the cost because people don’t buy sports cars.
The G family from Infiniti is and always has been a Z in a tux, and that isn’t an insult because the 350-370z are objectively great cars during their time.
