Canadian Pacific 2816: The Final Spike Tour in the Midwest

On a perfect day we chased CP 2816 and the Empress led the Final Spike tour train across Wisconsin and Illinois. We would chase the train from Reeseville down to Bensenville over the course of the day.

I have got to see Canadian Pacific 2816 operating and idled under steam at one spot over at the CPKC headquarters in Calgary, Alberta, Canada back two months ago in April 24th 2024.
