Bridgecom have had issues since Day 1. Also the original Yaesu DR-1X's were problematic in the beginning as the PA's were burning up. Yaesu bought some of them back or traded for the DR-2X. The 1X's went through a refurbishment and new Firmware and seem to be doing well. They were resold for around $500.00
NO you are 100% wrong on the RT97S. It is a newer version released in 2021 and is denoted "S" as special for GMRS and now includes a 9-pin interface on the side to leverage such things as PI. The original RT97 was released in 2018 and at that time not compatible for GMRS frequencies. Also it is not considered a 10W version when used in standard Duplex mode and is closer to a 5W output. Get your facts straight before spreading lies and misinformation.
Do you get the 40 watts out if the bridgecom after the duplexer or is that 40 before duplexer ?
but no Motorola repeaters so not really a fair test..

Can we get a video review of bot voices narrated by a bot voice?
LOL
RT 97 lacks CW ID and courtesy tone. The CW ID wichnis required every 10 minutes for all repeater set ups .

Why do you have "HAM" in all capital letters? It's neither an acronym nor an abbreviation like "GMRS" is.
