    I believe this was recorded during Eid, locals celebrate Eid at their hometown, most locals didn't stare at anyone unless you do something strange, and we local men don't hold hands with each other, they're banglasdesh foreign workers, one more thing that foreigners love to do is they'll ask you for a picture together so they can update their relationship status, just say no.😂

    You are in the midst of foreign workers.predominantly from Bangladesh. Every time there is a long weekend or a stretch of public holidays, foreign workers crowd the City and Parks. Locals go back to their hometowns and villages. The remaining locals in KL simply avoid all these places as they would feel they are in Bangladesh. We have to blame our Government for this dilemma.

    Facts :
    1. It's obvious to me that the day you walked around in this video happened to coincide with Malaysia's biggest public holiday called Aidilfitri, which is the Muslim celebration after month-long fasting during Ramadan (9th month of Muslim calendar). Practically all Malaysians were on holidays at this time of festive season and therefore had no business to be wandering around the city. What you saw in the city at this time - evidenced from 0:32 onward - almost all, if not all, were foreign migrant workers from Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nepal, etc, having their week off during the festive season.
    2. To get an idea of the size of foreign migrant workers in Malaysia : At least 7 million, equivalent to 22% of the country's population and 45% of the country's workforce.
    3. Apart from being used to foreigners, of all shapes and colours, local Malaysians don't stare at others - it's rude. So those who stared at you were those foreign migrant workers.

    In Malaysia, during the public holidays & weekend, parks & tourist spots full of foreign workers. Those are cheap workers or labours. Most of them were Indonesians, bangladeshi, nepalese, pakistanis, rohingyas, myanmar & so on. Most local malaysian in KL travel to their hometown, or travel to far places for holidays..

    The foreign workers gathered there from all over Malaysia taking advantage of the long holidays, some of them are off from their daily routine to like the whole week. The locals mainly "balik kampung" or spending the holidays with their parents in a different state... far way from Kuala Lumpur. You'll find these scenes almost every time during a festive holiday.

    All them were Bangladeshi, foreign workers gathering at KLCC spent time during public holiday maybe Hari Raya Eid. You should check first our country's calendar esp public holidays. You would find crowded people like that.

  • @hafizrahman5485
    @hafizrahman5485 Місяць тому

    Seems like you went there either during long weekend or festivities time (maybe eid weekend). Those men are Malaysia's foreign workers from all over the country mostly South Asians from Bangladesh, India, Nepal & Pakistan visiting KL during the long break from work. Best time to enjoy the park is during weekdays.

  • @wewenang5167
    @wewenang5167 2 місяці тому

    Most of these people all over the park are either tourist or foreign workers on holiday. During holidays most foreign workers will flock to the KLCC park, idk what they are doing. We locals usually only go there if we have something important to do or go shopping at the mall or working at the office in the towers. My aunt work in the towers in an oil company. Yeh if you go there on week end s its always crowded there and local dont really go there at weekends. Its Eid season for Muslims locals after Ramadhan so most locals are not in KL but went back to their villages in other states or at home on holiday for EID celebration. If you want to experience real Malaysian culture go find a local and visit their homes. We Malaysian aren't really a city lovers people, city is only for works for us locals. We love the countryside and jungles xD.

    The park is nice, just that, most likely, you were there over the weekend. Migrants have their day off and they meet there to share news, and exchange stories. I hope you still had a good time in this beautiful country. But wow, you are great, just walking around, talking to your camera in a live stream, sharing how you feel, and walking around all by yourself in, what you describe, an uncomfortable environment, and you did this in a very natural manner. Great confidence :-)
