Erik said on his podcast yesterday that he feels he’s at about 60-70% here. When skid row called him it had only been 4 months since his bone marrow transplant. And he couldn’t sing a full song. So he’s working hard to get in shape.
Came across this video with a new singer and I said “Lets see how he does with the songs “Monkey Business” and “I will Remember You.” OMG he is a Swedish God! I was blown away as Sebastian’s vocals are pristine in the recordings and impossible to replicate. Erik is phenomenal and then after researching him I found out about his illness. So much respect for him. I rather hear these songs as they were intended to be sung rather then a older Sebastian struggling to reach the notes. I feel like a teenager again from 1989. Thank you Erik for sharing your talent with us original 80’s metal heads!

Sebastian just wishes he could ever sound like this on his best day LIVE!!! This is incredible. Band sounds tight, vocals are spot on, the notes are being hit, and the pitch and ranges amazing. Great stuff.
This guy can sing and that is great but why compare him to Baz? Young Baz with Skid Row ripped and had a chemistry with that band that is intangible and cannot be replicated. Without Baz there is no catalog of Platinum hits for replacement Baz to perfectly pitch. Decades of music have taught me that having the greatest guitarist or most powerful high range singer doesn't mean anything without hits and this guy has no hits in the U.S.. He sings someone else's hits. It may sound mean but it's the reality of it. I appreciate this guys talent but his resume isn't in the same universe as Sabastian Bach and to compare them is unfair to Erik as there is no comparison. I love his story and I am happy for him but that is the truth.

Ok, his version of The Threat...bang fucking on. So glad they having a singer worthy of them.
Great vocals. Great songs. And Great band.
Skid Row is back!!!Thanks to the new frontman!!! Great powerful vocals!!! :-)
Looks how Snake, Bolan & Scotty feel.. They looks so exited with der new vocalist. Damn.. Finally..Skid Row with Skid Row sound.. Eric Bach 😀😍
Slaves to the grind and the threat riffs make me amped up!! Being a death metalhead since 2000 but started out as skid row guns n roses motley crue fan listenin them in 2022 makes me so proud feeling
Awesome! I'd love to hear him sing Quicksand Jesus.
Before I just use to listen what is popular song in the album. But now because of there new amazing vocalist I could listen to all of there songs
Singer is the real deal and has energized the whole band. I would def go see them now! Raw power!
Those are some SICK vocal cords!
This is awesome !! Skid Row
Back again !!
I am so blown away by how amazing they sound. Bas is a good singer but Erik kills it! I've become less of a Bas fan over the years due to his opinion on things he shouldn't be talking about. I always hoped for a reunion but now I want to see this version of the band!
Agree
Exactly. He's shown himself to be a total leftist, and not particularly very bright.
These dudes just had lightning strike twice. This kid is making Skid Row relevant again. Hope it's reflected in his pay.
Like winning the lottery jackpot twice!
As long as he stays submissive he will be allowed to stay in the band
Fuck that. They are washed up without a singer like that. They get more attention now than they did in 20 years since Sebastian "left".
@@ctrockstar7168 You mean as long as he's not a loudmouthed obnoxious ass? Don't worry he's not, the band actually LIKES HIM! Js
@@shellybean9 as long as he doesn’t threaten any egos, phrase it however makes you happy
Skid Row 2.0 for sure! This band is alive and kicking with the new singer! Love it!
Entire band feels fresh and alive! Love how Erik borrows cell phones from the crowd. Exceptional vocals.
For those of you who dont know, Erik had cancer last year and survived it..he will only get better over the next year,,cant wait to see him live..longtime fan of his vocals and performances..Rock on !!!!!
They real soul in 90's is back again...each of player look so excited to perform wirh eric 🤘🤘🤘
Sebastian just wishes he could ever sound like this on his best day LIVE!!! This is incredible. Band sounds tight, vocals are spot on, the notes are being hit, and the pitch and ranges amazing. Great stuff.
How many Skid Row concerts did you go to in the late 80's/early 90's ?
He did 100% but better in 1992 so you might want to go watch and listen . He actually blew this out of the water !!
@@stevenrandolph1654 Meh, his 1992 were hit or miss. 1989-1991 were better years
This guy can sing and that is great but why compare him to Baz?
@@stevenrandolph1654I'm plenty old enough to remember and Bach NEVER 'blew' this out of the water. How could he when he was often pitchy and off key and Erik is pretty spot on? No I'm not going to go watch something from back then, I've seen them all and NONE of them 'blow this out of the water'.
HEAT & Skid Row, 2 of my favorite bands combined! Perfection!! Erik is the Man!!
Wow! Erik really makes the band come alive again. Well done!
Dude he fits in perfect with Skid Row, keep winning over the crowd.
”Kid” row is killing it. Amazing pipes!!
Brilliant vocals, hats off! I wish more old bands had young talanted guys singing, ah.
Amazing. Erik is on fire, sounds fantastic. Band sounds great.
This is the best singer that Skid Row has ever had. Sebastian is good but this dude seriously has it going in the vocal category. He is fun to watch as well.
