I bought the kitchen under the counter lights. They lasted about a year or so and they just stopped working so I replaced them with rechargeable light strips and haven’t any problems with them 2 years later. The light strips have two settings first setting lights stay on and second setting the lights have sensors which turn the lights off when your not in the area and turn them on when you’re doing work in the area.

Another issue is when and if you remove the lights the sticky pads that hold the lights up remove the veneer from the cabinet.
