One of the Best stories I have seen in a Long time the story behind the story that shows you how we ought to behave amidst the threat of extreme adversity, and his character is awesome in portraying what is the right thing to do when necessary ❤ love this series watched all of them it is definitely worth your while to check it out you won’t be Disappointed 👍👍👍👍👍
The thing that always blows my mind about this is that Kenshin is so good that for most of the scene he doesn't even bother to draw his sword, because he doesn't need it; when he finally does, it actually comes as a shock, and adds weight to his words.
Those guy lucky is kenshin is the weakest generation of his sword style and is the gentlest If this thing happen in front of his master or other generation, most of them will be dead quickly
the author of the original manga said he regretted not having kenshin fight more with his fists in the manga, since a great swordsman like him would know a bit of martial arts and on many occasions must have fought without his sword in the revolution.
I like that Kenshin is self assured that the men he fought outside the Dojo aren't getting up any time soon so he doesn't even look behind himself as he approached the entrance to the Dojo. He also is so calm and so comfortable with his ability that he respectfully pauses, removes his shoes, and bows before entering. That honorable, respectful, peaceful gesture in an of itself, had I been a villain already in the Dojo even with my own posse of fellow thugs, would have made me pee myself. All these fight scenes are choreographed artfully and performed beautifully.
now this is a well detailed observation, Takeru sato should be any of Giyu, zenitsu and rengoku and kokushibo if there is a live adaptation to DS one day
The Aikido used here is gorgeous. Despite being so fast, it is properly and powerfully executed. It's a great display of what can be done with an art designed to defend without causing great harm.
Kenshin: I don't kill with this blade anymore. Kaoru: I'm pretty sure you just killed the guy you bashed both sides of his neck with that piece of wood. Kenshin: Not with the blade though.
He's one shrimpy lookin' man .... but he's walkin' all over them. They are a gang 30 fearsome .... but they're ka-put in less then a minute. And bonus: He's only using a wooden sword. LMFAO
I don't know how feasible this would be in reality, but still. This is a well choreographed and filmed scene, and if Kenshin is really that crazy skilled in canon, then a roomful of untrained thugs like this is child's play.
@IamtheMan1111Also different Era as Assassin's Creed Shadow take place at the final years of the Sengoku period while Himura Kenshin take place in the Meiji Period where samurai's are very rare and Japan is no longer isolated. Also swords are banned from being carried in public, but you can have them at home as collector piece.
Bruce Lee is a true martial artist who developed his own school, Jeet Kune Do. He was a student, teacher, and best friend to Dan Inosanto, a pioneer of modern FMA. Bruce also pursued his interests in philosophy and religion. On the sucky side, apparently he fell ill (leading to his passing) in the home of his side chick. Sure, this film is flashy, much flashier than Bruce's films. (By the way, Bruce also refused to film scenes that were too unrealistic or portrayed martial arts in what he felt was a bad light.) But Bruce Lee is just a class of his own.
I saw a news that a Naruto movie is being made in Hollywood. The bad news is the producer and writer knows nothing about the original manga and determined to not be familiar with it. Yeah, it's going to be DB Evolution all over again.
hey it would have been really cool to tell me that there are 2 MORE KENSHIN MOVIES!? Why did they literally not tell the West at all? I saw the first 3! Come on, man!
Nope Jiujitsu is what you talking about Aikidou is a sport modify version or you can say is a nerfed version of jiujitsu , created with the goal “ self-defense without making harm” which sound good in paper but never really work in real life
Yeah but the live action seems to have turned it into more of a general fighting style then just a Sword style as they show him fighting unarmed a lot more then in the anime and manga versions.

One if not the best movie series ever made.
We need more Japanese movies like this

My favorite serial movie, I like anything about Samurai since I read the book of Musashi legendary Samurai

The best live action of anime serial so far.
I like the actor for Kenshin since he did play Ryotaro in Kamen Rider Den-o
