His name is pronounced “Morris.” Besides that, this was probably the best, most inclusive, short video I’ve yet seen on Maurice Gibb’s life. He was a brilliant musician in every sense of the word and I don’t think he received enough recognition from his own brothers. He truly was the man in the middle. He lived the remainder of his life as a devoted husband and father, enjoying his other passion, paintball. RIP
He sure was multi talented. They were an amazing band.
My favorite Gibb brother - what a talented man - and band!! I fell in love with Maurice (Mo) aka the peacemaker and the “man in the middle”, when I saw the pic of him riding horseback w/a cowboy hat on, so darn handsome!

Maurice was an awesome musician and songwriter! His bass playing is beyond belief!! Very much like Paul McCartney! Killer riffs and phenomenal tone!! The Bee Gees are the greatest!! Don’t forget about his work on the tin tin lp!
Maurice gibb former neighbours and close to us, awesome and so gifted, just a very wonderful guy a local who was talented so gentle so loving very humble, remarkabley FUNNY. And sung on all levels wch many still don't know. Classy dresser and very sexy as he got older n them hats he looks wow in. Still loved him as kids n still do the same now, boy they were great.all the kids stuff and the funny never forget and treasure these signed photos we do. The very best these men god lent us heavenly gifts. Miss twins n their sense of humour and singing, voice s both of angels so true, n now Barry keeps it going and done some lovely country music. @@ththng3781 so glad they were round the corner from us just two streets away, they once made us nearly loose our drinks, when mo did his eye brows lifts, and pretending to fall into the road. Funny n still hurts he's gone n well never seen that now, so humble n living near us was great deal of fun. We are so very proud of them local lads, n they would always say we just want the world to fall in love with our music, they will was sed. Hope so he sed. I would say to them now. Basically. This was very well done. It was very informative with lesser known accomplishments of dear, sweet Maurice. A lot of things I never knew about. I love all of the Bee Gees, but there was something special about charming Maurice (Mo). I thought that he was so talented, handsome, humorous, humble, friendly, kind, the most affectionate of the Gibb brothers. He was just as talented as his brothers, he had a unique gorgeous voice, rich and smooth with a huge range. He knew exactly where to place his voice with his brothers to accomplish some amazing, heavenly harmony! It was perfection. Their voices each complimented the others. However he quite often was in the shadows while Barry and Robin were in the spotlight. Although he shone from the shadows in my eyes. Thank you for the great video on the spectacular Bee Gees and especially the adorable Maurice Gibb. 🎶💖🎶💖🎶💖

@@ThinkAboutIt4MeHis family and friends pronounced it as MOrris. It is said that is the way that they pronounce Maurice in the UK and many places in Europe. Although I think that he was addressed with both pronunciations so many times that I think he just went with it either way. An interviewer, who had been saying it as Morris asked him one time, " why do people call you Maurice (Ma-reece )"? He said "because that's my name" 😅
