It works only in 1080. It is impossible to show the settings on both when having the video resolution set to 4K
It is the camera problem no the external monitor
@@OmaGhomrawi Thank you for the response. So if I understand correctly is does work that the settings will be displayed on the external monitor and the screen of the Sony camera, but only in 1080? If you set the camera to 4K, it is possible to see the camera settings on the external monitor, but not on the camera screen at the same time? The camera screen will be black i guess?
@@digitalartproductions Exactly. In order to show the camera settings on the screen (in 4k) turn on HDMI Info in the camera
just started using the this monitor with my Lumix S5. when I switch my camera to 4k60 the monitor still works but turns everything blue and yellow. curious if there is any way around this or if you know why it happens. pretty frustrating because I shoot 60fps a good bit.
How did you manage to get a different display on the Desview than the one from the camera (00:46)? I just got the R6 and it always mirrors what my camera shows, which can be annoying, especially with the camera display settings.
You’ll have to changed the setting on your camera.
HDMI settings you need to turn something off but can’t remember on top of my head. Sorry

It's not possible to do that when the camera is set to 4k video.

Yea! there s small sensor at the buttom left corner, just cover it with a small black tap, or normal masking tape and paint it black with a marker.

@@israrhussainaquarius exactly that’s a problem in the a7 iii. once you’re in 4K video, and hdmi is connected, the screen turns black

See at the buttom left corner, you find the brightness sensor.
Srick a black tap on it or a white tape and use a black marker
