I think the real difference between Natacha and basically any other influencer that I know of is how open she is with her viewers about the ugly/difficult/taboo side of life, and it comes from a place of honesty that cannot be faked. Hey Dena, I think that feeling of being lost is something I relate to so much too though I think at 20 I wasn't aware that I was lost - I was just being that little leaf in the wind going in every direction but completely unaware of it. Recently if i've felt lost, I try to explore different avenues to help figure out if there's a path I want to continue down on and I find that can really help, not putting too much pressure on that avenue but just keeping an open mind and starting to explore at least felt like a forward step for me. Sending you so much love always (: xxx

I went through a really difficult period over the last couple of years, and in those times I wasn't in a place to talk about it publicly because trying made me feel worse. I guess that's a perfect example of it!

Hey@@shy3846 my first month of medication, I'm on an SSRI, I was mainly sleepy and restless but that passed once my dose was adjusted. Slowly, slowly I started reincorporating things I used to enjoy like yoga, but it still felt like a fight, until one day, it didn't. I'm feeling a little more energetic and less mired in dark thoughts. My therapist really helped me see my thoughts differently. It's a process! And some days won't be good, but that doesn't mean you're failing. Sending hugs and positive vibes. I hope you are starting to feel better ❤️❤️❤️

Historically I have a habit of going too hard, not being able to sustain the Herculean effort, giving up and hating myself. So now I’m trying to give a small, consistent mediocre effort everyday. It sounds stupidly simple but its crazy how it adds up. Mediocre consistency is the mindset that’s changed my life, that’s gave me a goal even though I was so depressed and I wish I’d known about as a kid.
I had to overhaul how I approached taking care of my brain (exercise, journaling, studying etc) by practising mediocre consistency. Now I try to put in consistent 40-60% effort into my journaling habit, workouts and how I study - to make sure I do it I began recording and posting it on my yt channel. After a really bad depression phase these small consistent efforts, is how i got out of it.

You are one of the realest people I know. I’ve had the same thoughts about growing too fast when starting a channel, and thought people would think it’s silly to feel this way(especially since I’m just starting). Stay exactly how you are, because the world needs more people to be real. This is the message behind what I do. Glad someone feels the same♥️♥️

I love this video, Natacha. I recently quit my job of 6+ years to start a new chapter and create a better environment for myself. Each of these lessons you shared is exactly the mindset I need to have for this time in my life. Failure is okay, I am in charge, and I don't need to change myself. Thank you for sharing all of this, you're really such a bright light in the fitness space and on UA-cam in general.

Gaaaa this made me all teary eyed with affection and appreciation for you ❤ Truly, you are one of a kind, incredibly special and such a joy. You have created such a lovely community here and I’m really grateful to be one of the 1.5 million that knows how wonderful you are ☺️ One of the things that stood out for me in this video was that when you talked about all the things you did that built your confidence, they were all things you did for yourself. I know Mario is a very important part of your life and that he has had an influence and an impact on you, but you didnt mention him and it struck me as evidence of how seriously you take this aspect of your life. You said the most important part at the end: you are the person who has been and will be with you forever through everything. I dunno …. I’m likely not communicating it well, but it really struck me how important a message this is for your audience, knowing how many of them are (well, I don’t know, I’m assuming lol) young women. You’re working hard at being at peace with who and how you are and while our relationships are important and the things we do are important, they can’t define our worth or sense of self. They can certainly be a vehicle for growth, though. My favourite thing about being in my 40’s is just how much all of the things you covered have really settled in for me now. I can relate to so much of what you shared, having had a lot of the same struggles and challenges and had to work diligently at those things, too. Still do. But it all kinda sets into the fibre of who you are somehow and it takes less and less effort. Truly the gift of getting older, if youre doing it well, is that you care less and less about what anyone else thinks and counterintuitively, as you care less about that, the more you’re able to care FOR others and give to others without feeling depleted or conflicted. It’s pretty great. Also, it has to be said, your hair looks fabulous! It kinda distracted me the whole time. I was like, “she’s glowing”. You’re just awesome 😎 ❤

Everything you said resonates so so much with me. Fear of failure, being a perfectionist, people pleasing, not fitting in, all of it is me. I did find out recently that I've gone most of my life with undiagnosed ADHD. I am medicated now and that ice cube is starting to melt.
I wish I could be happier. Less fearful. More kind and appreciative. Less critical. I wish I could un-become this because I KNOW how much of a self fulfilling mindset it is. I have a therapist and we're working on it but it's so painstakingly slow. Knowing that someone else has overcome these same struggles to some degree is really comforting. Thank you for everything you do, Natacha 💙

"Im not going to always be actively happy. " So simple, but so eye opening! I think there's so much pressure to be "happy" every minute. Life is full of challenges, and being happy every moment is unrealistic. Expecting to be can only lead to disappointment and pressure. My goal is just to be happy far more than I'm not. Thanks for my "ah-ha" moment of the day!

Haha the dinner recipe was mostly chopped veg but the magic ingredient was the honey + soy tofu: if you checkout the groceries segment you see which tofu I pick up from the fridge! If you can get that you're in! then we just added brown rice and some extra honey+soy over the whole thing ❤️‍🔥

I want to tank you, Natacha, for your videos. What you describe at the beginning of this video is how I feel from a long time. After I started following you, your videos helped me find peace with the fact that I need to let my body and mind rest and not just push through physical injuries and emotional drains. Currently I cannot work out I will get back to it once I put some things in my life in order but it is ok. I feel it is ok, I don't feel guilty for not being able to eat all the time the way I actually normally do, I don't feel guilt that I cannot workout and I do not feel guilt because I have put on weight. I don't feel like failure and like I am weak because I decided to take a rest. All that is thanks to you! So thank you from sharing you experience with us, you really are life changer for some of us. Maybe more than you realize.
