- In this tutorial I show beginners how to get started working with Polymer Clay. This bracelet is made entirely with handmade one-of- a kind beads in the colors turquoise, white, gold and black. It is a basic beginners How- to- very detailed tutorial but also has a some fun and practical tips, like how to use pepper and glitter to add color and texture to your clay. This bracelet is made with all handmade polymer beads and stretch string. I also show you how to make a marble cane for making beads and give you tips on how to make a clean bead hole.
I also give you some information on what basic supplies you might need to get started, like cornstarch, baby wipes, toothpicks, a blade, a rolling pin, a dotting tool, wax paper and Sculpey Premo Clay. I do cover different glue choices for when you string your bracelet, like GS Hypo Cement and E600. At the end, there is also detailed information on what types of sealers you can use to finish your beads, such as Triple Thick and MinWax Polycrylic Water Based. I also discuss why I don't recommend using Mod Podge for Polymer Clay.
I also reference the Polymer Clay Tutor for her excellent baking tips.

Hello Crafty Emmy 😊 very beautiful bracelet indeed you did! I'd like to use air-dry clay for my bracelets. How about foam clay? Does it contain plastic? I'd like to do bracelets and necklaces from natural materials and I understand that Primo air-dry clay is quite a natural product
Beautiful 🤩

This will be my first time using polymer clay by myself. My mother has been using FIMO and SCULPEY since the 1990s. I used to watch her over a period of nearly 30 years make polymer clay earrings, so I'm very familiar with polymer clays. I wish tutorials like this existed when I was growing up. I am using Bead Landing polymer clay that is inexpensive, but high quality, easy to condition. Excellent tutorial for beginners or beginners like me who had parents involved in arts & crafts early in life.
I will absolutely try this ...nice
That’s great! Let us know how yours turns out!

Can one use spray polyurethane?
I have not tried it but you can always test it out to be sure before you commit to using it on a piece you love
Скажите пожалуйста, зачем вы кладёте плитки на дно духовки?
My beads to small for tooth pick using a gauge wire ?
sorry to reply so late, I just saw this but maybe someone else has this same question. Yes, you can use gauge wire to make the holes
can we use microwave?!
no, I have heard you can't use a microwave-although, I've never tried it
