The climbing and descending of Eos tower was like one thing every maple character had to do at some point around lvl 35 along with all the quests from inside the tower like the Rolly workers' :3 i miss pre big bang so much!! Bring it back T-T

It almost makes you forget that you're climbing on the exterior of an impossibly heightened tower. No thoughts of precariously falling, but just adventure, trekking forward an onward.
Back when you had to actually climb the damn tower from floor 100-1 which took you approximately 1hour but it was all worth it :) with the music to accompany us and those flying mobs to keep you occupied on your way up... *cries*
Ludi music always incited such a childish wonder in me when I was young. The anticipation of a new adventure, the big bright colors, the giant world-- it was all so beautiful.
I want to go back to this time and play this game and watch original Naruto and early one piece. Those 2 were intertwined with this game for me. My friends and our adventures were so silly and not even really adventures but oh the fun we had :) I really miss typing to people and making new friends in games instead of discord calls all the time. It was a different experience. 😭💔

The best part is that I specifically got into maplestory when I heard the music. The music is the best part. It keeps me going. I hate when I have to leave certain areas when I'm too high levelled because I really dont get to hear the music while grinding again. I hope that maplestory has a bright future, and I can finally find a great buddy who wants to play maplestory with me often.

When I was level 20 as an archer, my level 45 friend convinced me to travel and I ended up stuck in Omega for 3 days before he was able to send me a teleport capsule. Also, anyone remember this being used in the beginning of Maple Kombat?
I remember when ludi just came out, i was convinced that the ludi boss was all the way down eos tower. So i convinced my guild to join me (even tho we would never be able to beat a boss but back then the game was also about exploring) and when we finally reached floor 1 and there was no exit (omega wasnt releases yet) they were pissed since we had to climb all the way back haha
i went down this thing before omega sector was released............ it was just a book but it was so epic i thought i found something special but the ascend tho...
You're getting the two towers a bit mixed up! Eos never had a book at the bottom prior to Omega Sector's release; it was just a dead-end map after that long 100-floor trek. Helios is the one with the book!
While having hunted the monsters in the tower, I(my character) used to come out of the tower to relax from time to time and this music(BGM) made my mind so comfortable.

파티 퀘스트만 하다 에오스탑 한번 내려가 볼까? 싶어 무작정 내려가다가 갑자기 확 트여진 하늘이 보이면서 들려오는 플룻 소리와 강렬한 새 소리... 십년이 지난 지금도 그 때의 기억이 생생하네요. 게임 하면서 가장 인상이 깊었던... 그런 경험이였어요
이 맵 자체가 혁신적인 발상이었죠
