MDNA could easily be top 3 it's spectacular and the fact she was 54 years old at the time putting on such a great and choreography heavy show makes it all more impressive.
Ughhh... Everyone raves about MDNA tour and I had tickets to the LA show and month before it, my friend and I had a falling out and I never went as he was suppose to be my ride as a poor college kid 😭 FOMO to the max!
I can't argue with someone that actually witnessed it for themselves (that must have been mind-blowing), but I'd say _Blond Ambition's_ importance is more Madonna at her absolute peak stardom. And let's be honest here, unlike the other tours, we got to know the dancers, Nikki and Donna, Mama Makeup, et. al because of _Truth or Dare/In Bed With Madonna._
I guess everyone is just too nostalgic about the Like A Virgin to Like A Prayer number. Because the Dick Tracy part is not something that becomes a classic. The Vogue performance was. Okay, fine, it also had Holiday and Keep It Together was such a great ending.
I think most everyone agrees including this video... I think that's the time period where Madonna really became an icon in a more controversial blossomed form... Truth or Dare gave everybody a look into her personal life and it had a profound effect on the world... Especially the Gay and Lesbian (at the time it was not as advanced unfortunately.) community, So that being said, I think her other concerts had great songs, dance choreography, scenery, costumes, stage props and her hair and make-up changes.. as she's said herself many times her concerts are like a theatrical performance(on here too) a way to act, sing and dance and express her artistic side and political views on stage live ... After Blonde Ambition, the world slowly started opening up and becoming more tolerant in general, especially now... She was given so much grief for silly things on B.A and even the new Celebration tour, she has topless female dancers.... shows the differences between the impact those statements made them vs. now... It's hard to be shocking these days .. regular television is not censored full of nudity, sex, profanity, violence.. and I think society just slowly grew and became de-sensitized to the changes, but look at what happened to Jim Morrison back in the late 1960s.. He was possibly facing prison for doing absolutely nothing wrong onstage, except embarrassing himself( I love him btw) and he got so much grief and no support from anyone back then, not even the music industry stood up for his right to express artistic freedom. Times have changed so much between that era, till Blonde Ambition, Truth or Dare and her Sex book , up until now.... I don't think it was because it was the best, I think it's because of what it stood for at the time...I truly believe she got the ball rolling and should be given only credit, no grief..Shes truly a wonderful role model for self discovery and acceptance, independent thinking, and individuality..Even now, if a public figure says anything controversial, they're so quick to retract and apologize and Madonna never would apologize for practicing artistic freedom and expressing the right to one's opinion and not apologizing...That's just my( very long, I'm very sorry ) opinion though....
@@judelyanne2966 I, for one, agree entirely. Madonna definitely raised the bar for every pop star after her, both male and female. Sadly enough, a deep thorough examination of how profound her impact has had on the world will only happen once she's gone. We see it with every pop star; everyone instantly remembers their greatest memories when a Madonna song was playing and everyone's lining up to mourn them when only the week before they were criticizing her relevance and her age. As far as tours go, _Blond Ambition_ will always be of enormous importance; it was the first concert that felt like it actually took you on a journey. How many other individually iconic moments have been distilled into a two-hour performance? It's hard to think of anything that even comes close, even from her. I have to admit I think the grandeur of the spectacle lost something after Christopher (her brother) and she parted ways. He knew her better than anyone and I think that opened up a vulnerability that only he could manifest. It's a real shame they had such a public falling-out and I can't help but ponder if from where he now stands, she's as inaccessible to him as she feels to the rest of the world.
Although I haven’t attented any of her tours except Celebration tour, since I’m a gen z, it was such an amazing tour. The best I ever attented. Before this tour, I told myself she probaly would stand or sit in a chaur or by a piano, considering she’s 65. I was completely blown away. Even though she’s not at her prime, she still rivals the biggest artists today, and thats why *Madonna will always be the queen of pop*
I’ve seen all of them except Virgin Tour and Girlie show. I am seeing Celebration Tour in March. Her first concert I couldn’t attend because it was an hour away on a school night and tickets were 40 Bucks. My how times have changed. 😆
All Madonna's tours are impecable but Girlie Show will be always my favourite. She shows how good she is as a dancer and the different styles as well. It's hard to place them, I love them all ❤
Madonna is the undisputed best female artist in the world. The amount of incredible shows and the amount of great songs. All amazing. I don't think she has a bad song out of so many. Her dancing skills are out of this world. Rocking and dancing and singing for hours on end. Even in her matute years. She is the queen. Will never be another one like her. She is more than an icon. Love her. Always had. Always will❤
I enjoyed this video so much! I still believe Confessions Tour is the best ever. It's a sophisticated, vibrant, theatrical, sexy, perfectionist Madonna I can't stop watching.
Drowned World Tour is my total favorite. Maybe I’m partial because that was a meaningful moment in my life. But it’s just such a great show. It really had some of the coolest musical selections, plus really unique, interesting portions of the show… punk/space, Asian, Western, Spanish… it was very diverse, despite the hate it received for lacking more “big hits”. Beyond that, the visual effects, kung-fu flying sequences, acrobatics, she played guitar on four songs, flamenco (La Isla Bonita), line dancing (Don’t Tell Me)… even sang “Lo Que Siente La Mujer” as something different.
And Madonna came back bigger than all the trending artists of that time bigger than Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Shaggy, sisqó, some of them they were not even #1 when Madonna was in about 23 countries. And top 20 with Don’t tell me n wiflfag . That’s why I always say that was her best tour and Music her best record. To someone understand what she did in 2000 2001 is like she becoming bigger than Taylor Swift Rihanna drake and everyone else
The Top 3 is undisputed by me. Blond Ambition is so far #1 for me, because of WHEN it happened, that poor Confessions (which is OUTSTANDING) can't compete... Girlie Show was a mesmerizing follow-up to Blond Ambition where she appeared more "human" and vulnerable, after the strong/robotic dominance of Blond Ambition. What a great period of Madonna history (1989-1993).
I'm biased but her first world tour 'Who's that Girl' - She had already made it big and compared to other productions , it was simple but so much energy. I remember in France, the advertising was huge and it showed the Paris show on primetime TV and our president was in attedance. I know no other star that had so muh star power back then..
I went to the Girlie Show and Stick and Sweet concerts, I must confess The GS is in my heart but Blond Ambition Tour is my favorite one, too bad I couldn't go.
I agree with the top 3 just the way they are. That's how I would rank them in my top 3. Love all her tours for different reasons, but Girlie Show was so edgy and fun. I wish I could have seen that one live. Confessions was probably the best production she has ever had. Blond Ambition will always be the one for me as it was the one that changed the game, was iconic, and was the first time I ever seen her live. In Chicago in the 4th row. The greatest night of my life.
The Top 3 is perfect, agreed. Blond Ambition is so far #1 for me, because of WHEN it happened, that poor Confessions (which is OUTSTANDING) can't compete....
I agree with that order - Blonde Ambition was a game changer in terms of how her fans saw her and what she could do. But Confessions - wow, that really segmented her talent and durability for me (and was the soundtrack of a new, exciting relationship for me too)
Indeed !!! Some-1 has put together a compilation of greetings from the various cities she visited . . . oH-lah-lah Nize!; Hola Barcelona! Genki desu ka Tokio! Hello America !!! And Keep it Together my favorite end of any live show. Exceptionally immaculate ✨ What a privileged to be alive in her times. She’ll reign for eternity. Long Live the Queen ♥️
For sure!!! I’ve seen 9 Madonna concerts and I will say the Confession opening is almost as amazing as “Express Yourself” from Blond Ambition and “Erotica” from Girlie Show. Just saw Madonna’s Celebration show in Boston and I must say, “Nothing Really Matters” was simple in its presentation but profound in its message and beauty…..
Confession tour Miami....one of my favorite moments of my life!!!! And it was a gift to the husband....if he wasn't into her I might not have gone!!! Unbelievable performances...she is our living legend!!
Drowned World Tour was Epic I mean gagging perfection, I am old enough and young enough that Drowned World tour was my first Madonna show in Vegas at MGM Grand ( Sadly just a couple days before 9-11) such amazing and sad memories from that long weekend. I’ve seen her three times since, Confessions Tour , Sticky Sweet Tour and MDNA. Her level of commitment., excellence , and the whole production is mind blowing. Every tour was so unique and different but Amazing Madonna. Her vocals are always on point ( Sorry Elton 4 times and live every time). I plan on the 5th show being the Celebration Tour in Denver this coming March. Love the queen now , always and forever !!!
@@earlusmcdivettThat’s a shame must not be a true blue fan. I’d never let one tour I didn’t care for make me not like or care for an artist I’ve always followed and admired. That whole era was captured on the Drownd World Tour. How shallow and clueless can one be?
She's extravagant, amazing, supernatural,,if I would choose a pop singer of all Pop singers nowadays,my no1 still goes Madonna, she's exceptional, the energy, moves, style, especially on her prime she gives 100%,the audience all set's eyes on him whenever she's performing, the audience connives/relevance or relate on every songs and impacted satisfaction on her appearance on stage presence of her
The confession tour is the best! It was my first Madonna tour and I was only 13 I was so lucky because I didn’t know much about her but I loved the confession album so much that I wanted to see the tour!!!!!! Turned out to be the best thing I have ever seen and still watch the DVD !!! I do love the reinvention tour too even though I haven’t seen it live…. I loved sticky and sweet but confession will be always my favorite!!! Great time!!!!!!!!!
OMG all tours was amazing ... pity i been only to one but i watch all others many times and all have very very good moments . cant wait to see her in Stockholm after 3 days !!! Madonna am coming for you again! after cancer and all shit, am gonna see u again. i hope you give me your love and energy for the next 10 years . 💘
MDNA Tour is fantastic and deserve to be Number 3: Religion, Fight for Freedom, Spirituality, Sexuality, Entertaining, Clubbing...it's like a Movie, a true live Experience !! Acts are all incredible and sophisticated, the motorised scene is something new in 2012, never seen before, the setlist, the band, Madonna is charismatic, sensual, human, beautiful, funny...she dance a lot, I mean a lot !! Look all those beautiful backdrops on giant screen ! Her dancer are all sensational and the Choregraphy are spectacular! The rhythm is perfect, this is what we're expecting from a Madonna Tour!! I attended it three times in the Golden Triangle in Montreal, Quebec and New York City. Such intense memories...Go watch it NOW !! 🔥🔥🔥
The Girlie Show was the first TRULY theatrical representation of a concert and it chased the face of concerts forever. Without the road being paved, we wouldn’t have any of the American icons we have now. 🌠
What a great list! Top 3 definitely agree! I liked Drowned World more than Re-Invention. Great video, thanks for putting it together for all of us to enjoy! ❤
Personally I've put Drowned World Tour on 4, Re-invention on 5. The top 3 is perfect:Her 3 most powerful tours, and Blond Ambition is top notch, iconic, set the bar high that even today, other singers still using her formula. The Girlie Show is the best circus theater that we can have. And Confessions Tour is the best dancefloor ever created. And now she's ruling again with The Celebration Tour, honoring many iconic moments from her past tours, thats why she's the Queen.
Wow!she had used here the big discoball, with her hardwork, perseverance, passion on her craft her success is very huge that's why She is the Queen of Pop!!!😍😍😍😘😘😘
Girlie Show, Drowned World, Reinvention, Confessions, and Sticky & Sweet were awesome. She was in peak performance mode and gave outstanding performances.
1:girly show 2.celebration 3:re-invention 4:mdna 5:rebelheart 6:confessions 7:sticky and sweat 8:drowend world This is my list ,wish i had seen blond ambition but my father did not let me go( by myself i was 15 that time)
I can't agree that Rebel Heart Tour is on number 9! It's the best tour I have EVER seen!!!! Her tours like Confessions or Re-invention was made most of dancing, and RHT is like a theatre. That's what I love the most. + best setlist she ever had.
Quite pleased with the top 3. For me, Girlie Show is the best. Took what was already in Blond ambition and took it further. And the band sounded incredible.
my first madonna concert was the girlie show followed by drowned world, rebel heart and celebration being a fan since i was 6 i still rate blonde ambition as the most iconic tour ever....my biggest regret not going to the confessions tour.
Thanks for this video. Very well made and very interesting. My personal top 3 is : 1. MDNA Tour 2. Madame X 3. Confessions Tour Altho I think the Rebel Heart Tour deserved better
I think MDNA could be number 3. The cinematic experience, the remakes and the dancing is great. And the staging is just amazing, the ending is one of her best too as the opening
I loved Rebel Heart Tour! And of course, MDNA is a revealing… made me woke up… Madonna is beyond words… I can’t find a way to describe everything that she has done for me and how much she has helped me, simply Madonna saved my life!!
The Girlie Show... underrated and underappreciated. My fave, though it could have had some more hits. Confessions one of the best. Drowned World one of the worst (sorry!)... it was Who's That Girl though that was her first tour as a global superstar.
Well I guess to each their own. I thought Drowned World was amazing. Loved every song . I was too young to go to pre Drowned. I would have loved to see Blonde Ambition and Girlie Show.
Same Top 2. I think it will never change but The Celebration Tour has all chances to become my 3rd favorite Madonna tour. I adore all of her tours though
My favorites would go in this order: Who's That Girl Tour Madame X Tour The Girlie Show Reinvention Tour Blond Ambition Tour Confessions Tour MDNA Tour The Celebration Tour The Virgin Tour Rebel Heart Tour Drowned World Tour Sticky & Sweet Tour
MDNA could easily be top 3 it's spectacular and the fact she was 54 years old at the time putting on such a great and choreography heavy show makes it all more impressive.
totaly agree

How do you feel it was theatrical? Blonde Ambition felt theatrical, but GS feels like a really high end concert to me.
Thank you !
watched it yesterday
What a great list! Top 3 definitely agree! I liked Drowned World more than Re-Invention. Great video, thanks for putting it together for all of us to enjoy! ❤
That was a phenomenal list.
I knew Blond Ambition would be at the top. Loved the reminiscence of Like a Virgin and Who’s that Girl footage. Thanks!❤
And now she's ruling again with The Celebration Tour, honoring many iconic moments from her past tours, thats why she's the Queen.
no Drowned world 5 re-invention 4
I love this video. Thank you❤
Great piece of work this video 👌🏼
DIVINE MADONNA 🌹
Wow!she had used here the big discoball, with her hardwork, perseverance, passion on her craft her success is very huge that's why She is the Queen of Pop!!!😍😍😍😘😘😘
Blonde Ambition is the best! Thanks for the video!
Blonde Ambition Tour and Drowned World Tour are so different and gave me so many inspirations
Wow. Very VERY awesome video. Keep up the great work
Girlie Show, Drowned World, Reinvention, Confessions, and Sticky & Sweet were awesome. She was in peak performance mode and gave outstanding performances.
1:girly show
2.celebration
3:re-invention
4:mdna
5:rebelheart
6:confessions
7:sticky and sweat
8:drowend world
This is my list ,wish i had seen blond ambition but my father did not let me go( by myself i was 15 that time)
Wonderful, thank you! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Blond ambition tour #1 Yyyyeeeeessss!!!!!
So unique and groundbreaking
My most favorite was The Rebelheart Tour from the stage, lightings, costumes, dancers, plots etc. twas fun to watch!!!
Ésta mujer supera todo, deberíamos estar felices de tenerla aún es este mundo 🌎
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
La Virgen Tour 😅
@@hiramdominicus7413 y la gracia cuál es?
@@andresaltafulla1021 virgen como tú
Obvio, como tú trasero papi
I can't agree that Rebel Heart Tour is on number 9! It's the best tour I have EVER seen!!!! Her tours like Confessions or Re-invention was made most of dancing, and RHT is like a theatre. That's what I love the most. + best setlist she ever had.
Quite pleased with the top 3. For me, Girlie Show is the best. Took what was already in Blond ambition and took it further. And the band sounded incredible.
Et les écrans ne faisaient pas encore partie du décor
my first madonna concert was the girlie show followed by drowned world, rebel heart and celebration being a fan since i was 6 i still rate blonde ambition as the most iconic tour ever....my biggest regret not going to the confessions tour.
Blond Ambition was truly spectacular ✨
Thanks for this video. Very well made and very interesting.
My personal top 3 is :
1. MDNA Tour
2. Madame X
3. Confessions Tour
Altho I think the Rebel Heart Tour deserved better
Sticky and sweet tour of course ❤ Greece loves Madonna !
I think MDNA could be number 3. The cinematic experience, the remakes and the dancing is great. And the staging is just amazing, the ending is one of her best too as the opening
Tnxs for this trivia compilation
Muy buena seleccion!! Totalmente de acuerdo con el ranking!
I have to congratulate you on the editing of this video ❤
Confessions tour definitely the best one.
I loved Rebel Heart Tour! And of course, MDNA is a revealing… made me woke up… Madonna is beyond words… I can’t find a way to describe everything that she has done for me and how much she has helped me, simply Madonna saved my life!!
The Vogue sequence from the Sticky and Sweet Tour continues to be my best ever!
Confessions Sticky and Sweet both Awesome x
3- The Girlie show
2- Blonde ambition
1- Confessions Tour
the sticky and sweet tour is sooo underrated!!!
YESSSSS
I envy those who had seen her cuz seeing her live is a once in a lifetime opportunity
Just did celebration and U are totally right
Agree
Madonna, one and only !
I loved Confessions Tour best show ever of Madonna
SAY WHAT U SAY BUT THIS IS SO AMAZING. ITS SOMETHING YOU SEE ONCE IN A DECADE!!
Great Video ☺️
Genuinely shocked that Sticky and Sweet scored lower than MDNA. Both tours were amazing but the choreography and energy for S&S takes it for me
This is a good list. Very accurate in my view. I was in 7 of these 10 tours. Soon another one.
Confessions the best ever EVER i went to both Mdna and confessions and was the best
The quality of your videos is top notch
love Madonna wish I got to see her she was in Denmark today 😭😭😭😭
The Girlie Show... underrated and underappreciated. My fave, though it could have had some more hits. Confessions one of the best. Drowned World one of the worst (sorry!)... it was Who's That Girl though that was her first tour as a global superstar.
Yeah, drowned was a little bit boring compared to the rest. Girlie Show is not as well known as It should be. So extremely risky, arty and brave
« Who’s that girl » le moins bon, ensuite « Sticky... »
Well I guess to each their own. I thought Drowned World was amazing. Loved every song . I was too young to go to pre Drowned. I would have loved to see Blonde Ambition and Girlie Show.
@brianmichaels5112 DW was too theatrical with no hits. Holiday, La Isla, and the Open Your Heart 'swell'. That's all fans got.
Same Top 2. I think it will never change but The Celebration Tour has all chances to become my 3rd favorite Madonna tour. I adore all of her tours though
The 3 Music Icons... Madonna, Prince, Micheal Jackson. We have lost 2 of them .. Never will there be anyone like them !!!
Confessions/sticky n sweet tour easily the top 2!!!
Brilliant list❤
My favorites would go in this order:
Who's That Girl Tour
Madame X Tour
The Girlie Show
Reinvention Tour
Blond Ambition Tour
Confessions Tour
MDNA Tour
The Celebration Tour
The Virgin Tour
Rebel Heart Tour
Drowned World Tour
Sticky & Sweet Tour
Blonde ambition is iconic forever !!! The girlie show is amazing !!! ❤
This ranking is so amazing
I'm not surprised by the Top 3 even though my personal fave is GS. I also wished RHT to be ranked higher. Btw, Celebration Tour was really awesome.
my personal top 3:
1. blond ambition tour
2. MDNA tour
3. sticky & sweet tour / confessions
