Hey old man doing stuff! Ya we're still out here. We have had a few major changes in our lives and had to put RC stuff on hold for longer than I wanted too but I think about the channel every day and hope to be doing more videos soon. Thanks for checking in on us!!
Thanks heaps for the vid mate, probably would have been in a world of hurt if I didn’t watch it, charging up the rest of my batteries and then gonna hit the outdoors in the morning.
Dude!! Thank you so much!! I had the same problem with the computerized radio and the bind process! I thought it was broken! I was just doing it wrong haha
I absolutely love this little heli iv hade several beginner helis never could figure it out I was hovering like a pro on the 3rd setting FYI my cat hates it lmao
I like you have both the nano 2 and 3 as a comparison the 3 feels a little more locked in. However this could be because my nano 3 has been flown a ton of times. and it's well used. But if you look under the hood they both look identical even the circuit board looks the same.
I Agree, the Nano S3 does feel more locked in, may be that my S2 has been flown a ton of times also! I know they updated the flight controller and added the telemetry but aside from that I think they are very much identical. I want to do a side-by-side video, just haven't gotten to it yet.
Hey man! I have a DX8 as well but when I went to 'Channel Input' to set my Gear to channel B, B isnt there.. Just Throttle, Rudder, Gear, Aux2, Aux3 and R Knob. Any idea why?
Hey! It may be the update for sure. It also may be that it's not assigned, I had an issue once where I couldn't get a switch to work, found out I had to assign it first. In System Setup - Channel Assign it was set to inh or N/A I think. Or is this the same Channel Input menu you're talking about and B just isn't there at all? Hope you get it figured out! I'll help more if I can! Let me know! Thanks for watching! If you're doing a Nano S3 make sure you set the throttle cut. I put an update note in the description of that video. Thanks again!
Are you running any expo on the nano S3 or just the default settings from the manual? I know you played with expo on the k110 so was wondering if you did the same with this heli
@@kingfamilyrc5376 cool I set it up last night gonna try this weekend. Took me about 3 years to learn inverted. I didn't have a trainer at first. Don't wanna lose the only cool skill I do have Lol
The NX8 has a color screen, foldable antenna and built in wifi that makes doing updates and registration easier. Also the NX8 is the only one available now, unless you get the DX8e entry radio, which is still available. The NX8 and the DX8G2 are both amazing radios.
Yes, the NX8 is definitely the one I would choose if buying a radio today, there's enough channels with the 8 that you can fly anything, extra channels for landing gear etc. Plus the NX8 can store 250 different aircraft programs in it so you will only need one radio, unless you get over 250 aircraft I guess! I love my DX8G2 and I can't think of one bad thing to say about it, maybe that I bought it 2 months before they released the NX8 and I kind of wish I had the NX but I still love my DX!
@@kingfamilyrc5376 get the nx8,I got the nx6,got the nx8 now should have went with the nx8 the first time, you’ll have enough channels for the Rc heli s,excellent transmitter, now I’m about to get the ix12.
Overpriced junk for what you get, but that can be said about most products Blade sells. Cant even imagine working on it. Get an M1 Evo. Pricey but a Rolls Royce compared to this toy.
Yall Still out there King?

Thank you very much for your video... it helped me to configure and bind the nano s3... and youre right... the nano s3 is awesome.
You're welcome! I'm glad it was helpful for you! I Love the Nano! Thanks for watching and commenting!

What happens if you are flying the Nano S3 inverted and you press the panic button?
I've a nano c3 on way tks 4 ur videos

I'm thinking it may need a firmware update

I have the nano s3 &nano s2 are the settings for the s3 the same for the s2 for a spektrum nx6 ?and now the nx8 next it’s the ix12 or 14
Yes they sure are! I even bound my Nano S3 to my Nano S2 program and it flies the same! I have a DX8G2 but you're the same on the NX6 still! 👍
@@kingfamilyrc5376 okay thank you
When I bind my s3, I go to forward programing to set up the safe and,it fails
I have the S2 RTF, can I still bind to a BNF?

I had the dx6i but couldn't get into the stunt mode. 4 months later finally got the dx6e i hope I can get it working
I hope the DX6e works for you. My boys have the DX6e, I'll give it a try and see if it works to, I'm curious now. Thanks for watching!

Very nice friend, do you need to change the receiver to bind?
Thank you friend! No need to change, it binds right up to the stock receiver
cool video i may go pick this up today how long does it fly on that battery
Thanks, and I get to fly about 3-4 minutes on the 1s battery.
When I go to stunt mode 2 it just flies straight up in the air
Follow the step at 21:15
What’s the difference between the nx8 and the dx8?
