It's such an interesting metaphor idea, going from "I'm an alien and I hide that to fit in but people don't like me because I'm still inherently different to them" to "wait everyone's an alien just trying to fit in like me - but they all still don't like me."

she transitions between her being a human and an alien actually look so cool omg
she didn't fit in pretending to be someone she wasn't. she still didn't fit in when she as genuine. WHY IS THIS SO FLIPPIN RELATABLE?
The colors used in this are so VIBRANT and eye catching! The mixture of purples for the room and space scenes make a very interesting environment, and especially help the green alien design stick out near the end. 2:42 And this transition sequence especially was so creative and a nice way to represent the feeling of “alienation” is still within the character even with the human appearance. Very cool and symbolic I feel
Ah wait sorry I watched the first alien video and now I understand the double meaning of the character was probably not intentional. I’m sorry if I’ve read too deep into the meaning, I just enjoy pointing out neat details and hope you don’t take any offense or think I’m misconstruing things. Regardless if the alienation pun was purposeful I think it’s a very lovely animation and I admire the skills you used to make it. Thank you for sharing

Honestly, the fire alien dude was the MVP and glad the the animation ended in a lighter/bittersweet tone.
I dont understand ,was the fire alien dude the guy who she( the alien) was talking to at the end , if so then why did he make a cross with his face at her saying hello ,at the scene where she is talking to everybody after she realizes everyone at the dance is an alien .??

Sure! Here at 2:47 is the fire dude that I was talking about, he noticed that Rose, the alien girl was in low spirits and message her if she was okay.

The fact that she was rejected after she showed her true self was pretty deep. You should just be who you are, because regardless of whether or not people like you, there’s always going to be opinions against you.

Man this will be a my last year of highschool. My whole high school experience has only ever been me alone. I have friends here and there but everyone is leaving me to be with other people. And my one close friend that hang out with alot is going to be homeschooled this last year. So idk what to do. I'll probably be alone. Funny enough all i want is to be good at art and I'm not even good at that. I want to be an animator one day! But you never know what'll happen ig. But i am thankful for having this animation recommended to me :)

This video is incredibly animated and the stuff that are shown there are so close to what i feel about socializing it's insane!
In my life everytime i tried to establish a connection to neurotypical people, and most of the time would be in vain, so i stopped trying to make friends who didn't had similar special interests as me, but even with people that had the same interests as me the connection would feel vague or superficial making me feel that i don't belong anywhere, oftenly i didn't care but sometimes it really made me wish to be literally anyone else besides me. My communication problem made me cry so many times but at least just like the girl in the video have someone to back her up i also have my incredible girlfriend to cheer me up and i'm very lucky to have her in my life. It makes me think even thought being me means having communications problems, being weird and a crybaby, maybe i wouldn't have meet the love of my life and the few friends that i managed to connect with. That's everything this video made me reflect on, it may be a little animation made on flipaclip (impressive btw) but it's a work of art in it's core for being so meaningful. :)
