It is a bit ironic that both the lich and Finn have a shared animated moment, when Finn, being in the world of dead, does not find Jake and finds himself alone, his skin disappears, leaving only his skeleton, revealing the emptiness that was inside him when he lost His brother, on the other hand, the lich takes off Billy's skin when he is with Golbetty, revealing desperation and anger upon knowing that his purpose was not what he really wanted, both demonstrate that even leading a life to which you are "destined", It doesn't always ends in the perfect way, and it's sad because they both end in despair, loneliness and depression😔

This really hits me on an emotional level. Not only because of BMO's beautiful singing, but because i grew up watching a lot of cartoons and adventure time was my favorite. The show was weird and fun which i loved as a kid, and the messages that it give about stuff like romance, losing a loved one, etc, really made me think about the bigger picture of the world. The characters are really likable (in my opinion) like finn, jake, ice king, etc, and they are a joy to watch. I remember when the show ended and i was sad but accepting of it, because like all adventures, it always has an end.

Unlike most cartoon shows nowadays try their hardest hyping the best battle, the best Zuko rip-offs redeem villains, the funnest or the best personality character like some Pokémon catching games.
Y'know, kids born between 2000 and 2008 had an odd time growing up. We all had that period of watching the shows the 90s kids loved to watch, and saw many of them die out in the late 2000s or early 2010s, and see all the amazing shows, such as Adventure Time, up until is very end. And by the time all these shows have ended, we all moved on as well. Some still in highschool, most have graduated, and others entering or finishing university... A lot of great memories with all these shows as kids. For me, it was watching these shows when I would visit my grandparents a few hours away, and stay with them over the weekend or in the summer... Just watching the old Godzilla movies on VHS tapes they kept, or some video game consoles belonging to my father when he was growing up. It's a weird nostalgia. Not bad, but also not a great feeling. A sort of "That was good" feeling - where you get bit teary-eyed from the sadness, yet smiling from the positive memories.
Ive watched this so many times man, it just makes me feel so nostalgic. I remember growing up with this show, and I miss it. It's crazy to think how much one show can impact your life.

My brother at 18, passed away recently. Him and I used to always act like Finn and Jake. This story of imagination even in our subject artist dreams this story is something I hold Deer too me and thank you for that edit although it made me cry💚 “blesseed be our wills”

This hits unbelievably hard for me because when I was 13 my brother was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and soon died after. We used to watch adventure time together and our favorite character was BMO so this hit so hard.

Adventure time will always hold a special place in my heart. Crazy how we grew along with this show. Everyone is so much older now, both fiction and real life. Man, how we've grown.
When i started watching Adventure Time, I thought it was just a goofy weird history, about 2 friends and some adventures... Then it started developing further and further, every episode with deeper sentiments, every season with deeper thoughts about life, and death, and their meaning... As some would say, I've come looking for copper and silver, but found gold.
I STILL don't like how they turned the lich from scholar into worshipper, even though Golb is either A) An existentially evil entity or B) A mindless representation of entropy, both of which the Lich would obviously know and understand as a primordial being. It really isn't the best writing to make him anything other than the basic massive threat he was.... Still, amazing video.
The Lich simply believed there was a greater purpose behind death and destruction whiile not knowing Golb and golbetty were just using him to feast on the souls he brought them. I think its ok for a normal creature to not be fully aware of the Gods' true intentions.

So the fact him succeeding in ONE reality made him question his purpose is.... Dumb and inconsistent to a very major character.

@@entropyOTD the Lich in farmworld was a separate Lich from the main universe, He worships a higher being by doing something he thinks will appease them while still enjoying it in a sick and twisted way, he clearly loves the thrill of killing life but once it’s gone there’s nothing more to do so he just sits pondering until he doesn’t understand his purpose anymore. Also Golb is not entropy Golb is chaos and since the Lich seems to imply that Golb sent him as the catalyst comet it’s make sense if Golb had sent every catalyst comet since Finn and the Lich are opposites it would make the perfect place for chaos to unfold, but once the Lich wins there just nothing, no more chaos, no more use for that Lich. So Golb turned him into a Tetris block.
@@Lolo_225 He's not a separate being though, this is proven by the fact he knows how multiple dimensions work upon first being formed, or in a very short amount of time, in a non-magical world. He operates on primordial rules, which are insane.
This made me think about how in our childhood we only worried about things as simple as watching television and as we grow up life becomes more complicated.

I thought this was actually BMO when I watched this. It brings a whole nother level of emotion when you've watched this show and realize that BMO actually could've sung this. It brought tears to my eyes listening to this at 1 am, knowing that things will be better sooner or later when things are rough. Love to all who have experienced hardships and have conquered them. Keep striving and know that you are great.

The thing about Adventure Time is that it begins as an innocent kids’ show, but as you delve deeper into the series (around season 5/6), it becomes increasingly captivating and thought-provoking.
This almost made me cry because this was my favorite show and it's so sad that they stopped making episodes of this show and Jake was my favorite character
This made me realise that its been ten years since i was watching adventure time after coming home from school, it is the end of an era for most of us i guess, may we never forget where we came from, and msy we find true happiness before death earns us

Why do I like this? I never even watched much adventure time (of course I’ve watched some when I was younger) but it feels nostalgic. It doesn’t make sense to feel nostalgia for something you never really experienced and yet here I am, feeling it. Masterpiece of a song in my opinion, fair play man.

Life’s hell but what you make do with this hell will make it seem otherwise. And removing all that ends up removing happiness. With no struggle, there’s nothing to feel happy for. Unless everyone around you is also immortal, but eventually, everyone gets tired and experiences are the same. We live knowing death is coming and we want to experience what we can before the time’s up

I STILL don't like how they turned the lich from scholar into worshipper, even though Golb is either A) An existentially evil entity or B) A mindless representation of entropy, both of which the Lich would obviously know and understand as a primordial being. It really isn't the best writing to make him anything other than the basic massive threat he was....
Still, amazing video.
The Lich simply believed there was a greater purpose behind death and destruction whiile not knowing Golb and golbetty were just using him to feast on the souls he brought them. I think its ok for a normal creature to not be fully aware of the Gods' true intentions.
@@SuperSpectrom Before we got to that point, however, he was shown to be someone who would not stop even when it came to other dimensions going by how Farmworld went along.
So the fact him succeeding in ONE reality made him question his purpose is.... Dumb and inconsistent to a very major character.
@@entropyOTDafter his goal was completed in his universe he probably just thought that he would be feeling the exact same way, once he killed everyone in other universes. That’s why he decided to go to the source and ask Golb what the purpose of all that he was doing was.

He worships a higher being by doing something he thinks will appease them while still enjoying it in a sick and twisted way, he clearly loves the thrill of killing life but once it’s gone there’s nothing more to do so he just sits pondering until he doesn’t understand his purpose anymore.
Also Golb is not entropy Golb is chaos and since the Lich seems to imply that Golb sent him as the catalyst comet it’s make sense if Golb had sent every catalyst comet since Finn and the Lich are opposites it would make the perfect place for chaos to unfold, but once the Lich wins there just nothing, no more chaos, no more use for that Lich. So Golb turned him into a Tetris block.
@@Lolo_225 He's not a separate being though, this is proven by the fact he knows how multiple dimensions work upon first being formed, or in a very short amount of time, in a non-magical world.

This made me think about how in our childhood we only worried about things as simple as watching television and as we grow up life becomes more complicated.

I thought this was actually BMO when I watched this. It brings a whole nother level of emotion when you've watched this show and realize that BMO actually could've sung this. It brought tears to my eyes listening to this at 1 am, knowing that things will be better sooner or later when things are rough. Love to all who have experienced hardships and have conquered them. Keep striving and know that you are great.

This made me realise that its been ten years since i was watching adventure time after coming home from school, it is the end of an era for most of us i guess, may we never forget where we came from, and msy we find true happiness before death earns us

It’s so hard to watch this it’s even harder when a person u watch it with cry’s at the end of a beautiful story of sadness and happiness the ups the down and later acceptness there is so many depictions and so many ways of figuring out how the characters felt but in reality I think the true people that knew how these characters felt were the people who acted them because they were truly there god I miss this show

Why do I like this? I never even watched much adventure time (of course I’ve watched some when I was younger) but it feels nostalgic. It doesn’t make sense to feel nostalgia for something you never really experienced and yet here I am, feeling it. Masterpiece of a song in my opinion, fair play man.

Life is filled with sadness, but with it comes happiness. We can all fine love, enemies… purpose. We make friends, but with friends comes family, memories. They Shows us that we have a connection to people, places, and emotions. We all fall, and we rise, life shows us purpose. And reality gives us a feel. The feel of pain, in life we will all lose family, Friends. But it is the memories that make us remember how happy, sad, angry, confused. We were. Im 14 and i have severe suicidal thoughts. But its the memories. Not the moment😊

Same goes, there’s bound to be moments where things aren’t going well and it’s tough to handle, these moments are what can make the smaller moments of happiness something to hold dearly. And in such tough moments, one should always remember that it’s okay. Not the situation itself but that it’s okay to not be okay. Life’s hell but what you make do with this hell will make it seem otherwise.
And removing all that ends up removing happiness. With no struggle, there’s nothing to feel happy for. Unless everyone around you is also immortal, but eventually, everyone gets tired and experiences are the same. We live knowing death is coming and we want to experience what we can before the time’s up
