Princess Charlotte and Prince George Attend Queen’s Funeral

- Prince William and Princess Kate thought long and hard about bringing their children to Queen Elizabeth's funeral. They decided the older children, 9-year-old Prince George and 7-year-old Princess Charlotte, were mature enough to attend. The royal children rode silently with their mother and Queen Consort Camilla to the funeral. Princess Charlotte waited as Camilla exited the car followed by her mother, Kate. She wore a small diamond horseshoe pin in honor of her great-grandmother.
George and Charlotte behaved impeccably. Their parents must be so very proud of them. I was very proud to be British today. Farewell Your Majesty. Long live the King

@@sherryanderson2260 yeah he does but Charlotte seems to understand the importance of tradition and routine. And she is a bit more lively in public. George always seems to keep his head down and look solemn
George does seem more introverted, but he does take his sister’s advice quite well, such as when she told him to bow or during the Jubilee when she told him “Arms down, George.” Both times he did so with no hesitation, if maybe a little hint of embarrassment

I think if it was an open casket, that would have been traumatic for kids to see. It was nice that older kids attended. They will remember this moment saying goodbye to their beloved great grandmother. 💕
It's not traumatic for kids to go to a funeral.... that's literally not traumatic. It's sad.... but not traumatic
@@GorgieClarissa I didn’t mean that the funeral in general is traumatic for a child, I was referring to funeral where there is an open casket. I’ve been to those as a kid, and seeing a dead bodies gave me nightmares. 🤯

Charlotte is such the little queen. It runs in her genes she always had this type of personality. I remember her from Harry’s wedding.
Princess Catherine is so stunning and elegant . She is a women who is confident,knows who she is and is comfortable in her Royal role. There is a strength about Catherine which the Queen had.

I lost my Grandmother's at the age of five six months apart and I was deeply saddened by their passing but I was able to keep it together thanks to my family and not act up my little brother was three at the time but he was a fairly well behaved he had a biting phase that was fairly bad bur he didn't bite anybody during the funerals or burials thankfully
I went to my great grandmas funeral when I was 4
I never knew my Great Grandma.

I lost both grandparents when I was 8 so I understand what there going through
I remember that my parents brought me to my grandmother's funeral when I was 3. I was carried by my father when the family members walked around the open casket paying their respects. I think I was silent at the time.

Yes, that is true. My mother took me to a funeral when I was around 4. She promised me a toy if I behaved but the bribery failed. I got a spanking soon after the funeral. My dear mother, bless her heart.

I find it funny that they made a whole news video about prince george and princess charlotte attending the funeral, next they have a expert on “deciding whether children should be allowed to go to a funeral or not.” Tell them that there is no age for someone to not go to a funeral. After that they then speak about how charlotte cried, which is genuinely sad seeing a child cry because of the loss of a family member.

Jesus, Charlotte wasn’t “weeping softly”. Did anyone watch the actual video at all? She got something in her eye and she was rubbing it hard. There is literally no picture or video of her with actual tears on her face. None. This image was taken out of context to capitalize on people’s emotion, like that was needed for something like this.
