Thanks for posting. I have been after crappie in NE Indiana. I haven’t been able to bring one home yet. I also have the Viper reel but in the 500 ice size.

Thanks for all your great videos. I live in NW Washington and have been fishing a natural lake with water temps in the mid 60’s and the female crappie I’ve been catching have eggs in them, I thought they would’ve spawned by now, what’s up with that?

Been watching your videos for a few years now and I am about to get a new Xpress H18C. Curious which mount you use for the live scope? Would love to see an overview of what you use and why...

When marking points using down and side imaging I see you use the touch screen and pan over what you want to mark. Do you feel that accurately places your mark? I feel that when I pause the screen and hover over the structure to mark, then come back over with forward facing, my location is off. For instance it seems that it is marking where my transducer is instead of marking where it was during the pause as I see you in your videos. This may not make sense however, would appreciate any comments if anyone understands my ramble.

I like your channel. When I click the links, a link pops up over it talking about marketing funnels. Can’t get to the crappie baits website.

@@FloppingCrappie Thanks for the quick response. I bought an ACC Crappie Stix and was recommended your channel. The ACC crappie stix are okay, I think they are a little too stiff for crappie fishing though. Wished I got something different honestly. You need the flex, so you don’t rip it out of their paper mouths.

@RussFishes4fun what size rod did you get? The 7ft and 6ft one piece have a very sensitive rod tip

@@FloppingCrappie I got the 7”6 2 piece spinning rod. I got it to get out farther, being I’m a bank fisherman. I like how light it is, just wished the tip had a little more flex. I can’t throw out far with a 1/32 oz jigs. Don’t like to add split shots, it makes the jig fall to fast. To me it’s more of a vertical jigging rod. Guess I’m going to get me a Shakespeare micro series. They got a great tip and good back bone.

@RussFishes4fun the 7ft and 6ft one piece are much more of a light action rod capable of throwing the smaller 1/32 oz. Jigs. I mostly use the 7'6 for 1/8oz + jigs for crappie and walleye
