  • Hello lovelies! Today, I'm gonna share the yummiest Mango Cake recipe. The chiffon is so light and fluffy. Frosting is so rich and refreshing.
    Here's what you'll need:
    7 egg whites
    1 tsp vinegar (5g)
    3/4 cup sugar (150g)
    1&3/4 cup all purpose flour (218g)
    3/4 cup sugar (150g)
    1 tbsp baking powder (15g)
    1 tsp salt (5g)
    7 egg yolks
    1/2 cup oil (120g)
    2/3 cup water (78g)
    1 tsp vanilla (5g)
    200 grams cream cheese
    2 cups whipping cream (484g)
    1/4 cup icing sugar (30g)
    1 cup mango puree (250g)
    1 tsp vanilla (5g)

    Also the creams needs to be whipped very well because if you mix that with the cream cheese , small particles will be visible. I guess some procedures here are not really accurate. 😔 Me as a first timer gets so frustrated.

      It is best to whip cream separately. then fold or whip again together. Easier if you are using a stand mixer. Make sure also your cream is chilled.

    I followed everything but it wasn't successful. I don't know what's wrong. Also, I don't believe you are telling the right measurements. In your video t shows you only have little amount but in the real one, in mine, why is it that it looks like it's a lot. I don't understand.

    Hi. I have followed your cake tutorial everything has the perfect taste i want. But the chiffon cake is not fluffy and soft. What do you think, i have done wrong? During the process of the butter it wasnt Liquid enough to have the density like yours. I have added some few more water to soften a little....

      Hi dear, you can use mango juice. Mango puree is heavy and it will not give moisture to the cake :) Hope that helps :)

    I tried this cake and it baked just fine but when cooling down it was shrinking.
    Can someone pls tell me wat I might have done wrong!?!

      Chiffon cakes really have a tendency to shrink. Not your fault

    For the frosting, do I keep cold or room temperature cream cheese and whipping cream before making the frosting? Please answer!!!

      Cream cheese - room temp; whipping cream - chilled. But if you uses Powder whipping cream it doesn't matter whether cold or room temp.

    Hello, kindly double chek the measurement specially for the water it says 2/3 cup but for the grams it says 78grams only

      Hi Noemi, yes if it's chilled enough then it will work. But somehow it is not as stable as whipping cream. :)

    Hi po. Question lang po. Sa ingredients po ng frosting, pwede po ba na equal sugar ang gamitin ko instead of icing sugar? Hindi po ba makaka apekto sa stability ng frosting yun? Diabetic kasi po ang mother ko kaya as much as possible, gusto ko po sana ma lessen ang sugar.

    Hi. Thanks for the cake recipe i just baked mine now and it looks great. However, i failed on the frosting although i followed exactly the measurements and your instructions. The whipped frosting outcome is super runny it wont get stiff so i ended up overbeating it until it curdled and it is still runny.

      Mahjhoy's Delights true. Went to the shop again to buy whipped cream and cream cheese bec i the first batch was too runny. Something definitely doesnt add up.
