Fun fact: The animatronics are all practical. No cgi at all. Just another amazing aspect of how they brought these amazing horror game characters to life

29:13 Oh, the animatronics LOVE children. That's a detail from the actual games, or at least the first few; in the games it's mentioned when the restaurant was open they were hostile to adults, but very protective and caring towards kids. I think their friendship with Abby is 100% genuine until Afton's influence to harm her affected them.
I got the sense that the animatronics did genuinely like Abby but I knew eventually they would turn on her because of the influence of (who I later found out) Afton.
This is cause, in the game lore atleast, the kids couldn’t remember exactly who it was that killed them. They just remembered a man in a purple suit (or some theories, a security outfit) so they went after adults hoping it was the man who took their life away.
You nailed the lore in just one go! CONGRATS! It took fans of the games 1 year to figure it out, but you did it with only 2 pieces of detail!

Bro we figured that out since the first game. Just the only detail that we didn't know was that he was one of the co-owners
the movie is based off the games and the books Scott created I think they intentionally made the lore easy to identify in the movie so that non fnaf fans could figure out the story without being left confused

Basically the First Suits had this thing called "Springlocks", it makes the Costumes work both as an Animatronic and Suit that an employee could wear it. The Springlocks were supposed to be only activated when there was an Endoskeleton inside it, but accidents happened like in the Movie.

A lot of the bigger questions this movie leaves are stuff that are elaborated on in the games. Afton's backstory, the Golden Freddy who showed up at Abby's house, why the suit had springlocks in it, several general references and cameos, etc. I could probably list some answers if you want to know
The should make another movie because learning all this background info would be interesting.

@@GabbyReacts fun fact: their will be three movies based on the games. the first one being based off of fnaf 1, the 2nd fnaf movie based off of fnaf 2 game is in the works and will be out probably by the end of next year, and 3rd one being based off of fnaf 3. also in the fnaf movie the first one, their are refrences to the fnaf games aswell as mini games and book series. one example is the fnaf silver eyes novel.

You know, out of the like 7-8 or so reaction vids I’ve watched, you are the *first* person to notice the timestamp on the career counseling security camera revealing that this takes place in the year 2000, on your first watch no less! Even *I* didn’t catch that until like the fifth reaction vid I watched lol.

The lore is so huge there's potential for more than 10 movies even though 3 have been confirmed so far. They BARELY touched the surface in this first one.

also william was previously in a springlock accident, but the children's souls kept him alive, making him undead in the movie
46:05 he was absolutely obsessed with that costume, he would not want to change it by removing the springlocks
literally every question she asks is answers in the movie and i freaking LOVE IT.
6:33 it always makes me laugh when I rewatch this scene. You know he’s trying to sell the job, but even he can’t sugarcoat just how much it sucks

i've been a fan of this series since 2014, and i really like seeing people's reactions to the movie because it's the best way to experience the lore of this series without diving into the agony demons, sci fi technologies, time travelling ballpits, genetically modified sea animals and mimicking robots
I didn't even know it was a game until everyone told me in the comments. I was surprised by how good it was!

22:16 another comment said this was accurate but... ehh, only kind of. yes, one of the owners was a child murderer, BUT he didn't die until the ghosts of the kids he killed took revenge. it's the kids that are haunting the animatronics, not... not the dude who killed the kids- still accurate that an owner killed kids, though
I loved your reaction! As a fan of the lore of the games and books since 2015, that movie was gold! I'm glad you enjoyed the movie even if you didn't know about the games. (fun fact: the creator of the games was one of the producers of the film, so he was very involved in making the production what fans expected)

You said you like Chuck E Cheese pizza? They actually have a delivery service called Pasqualli's Pizza, named after one of their animatronics. It's from the same corporation as C.E.C. and is made in the exact same kitchens

Edit: i kinda skipped thru some of it but this was actually a really good reaction but also at the end when you say *they want him to suffer* they actually do because they put him thru a thing where he always comes back to life then kills kids then dies again and his life just repeats inside of that costume trapped like that for forever with no escape just an endless labyrinth

@@GabbyReactsNo problem also i would really recommend watching the banana splits movie it was the original script to the FNaF movie back from 2017 but then Scott Cawthon did not like that script so he just kind of gave it away and it got to the creators of the banana splits movie and it is literally rated R and probably the scariest part of the movie is when this guy gets his limbs cut off by the animatronic (but yeah if you liked this movie check this one out)

Actually thi movie is based on Fnaf game series which is really based on Chuck E Cheese. The guy went in to restaurant, ordered food, locked himself in the bathroom and killed four employees. It was an imspiration but they made games based on it

What are you talking about? Five nights at Freddy's was made because people said that The characters in one of the games that scott made looked like animatronics, and it was scaring people, so he decided to create a horror game with animatronics
Now that I think about it, there's a high chance that this dude was just trolling..
It wasn't inspired by any real events, Scott said so after Matpats first theory video which is why his theories after only focus on the stuff in game (and eventually books and the like of course)
The theory that fnaf was based off of an actual Chuck E. Cheese murder case has been debunked for a decade now.
