I consider this movie a prequel to the original film with Gene Wilder, as there were callbacks to that version throughout the movie including the Oompa Loompa song and the "Pure Imagination song that were both first film. The actor's name is Timothee Chalamet.

there a lot of Gene Wilder version reference in this film, it can be seen as it own thing and prequel to that version, Wonka’s parents never in the books, Johnny Depp version made that Dentist dad up, so this one can gave him a loving mom too, Arthur Slugworth always exist in the universe but just a blank slate. in the original, that character was just someone he hired to pretened to be Slugworth(so there some people confused and complained that they made him Black ‘How can he turned white in the original!’, when he never appeared in the original in the first place, he can be anything) that guys at the zoo Simon Farnaby, he is a british comedian and also a guy who wrote this film

Of the many things I loved about this movie is, while most people complained about the super realistic character designs, they stood out to me and really impressed me. Another thing I loved was the attention to detail in the buildings and how they looked back then. The film I felt did a great job in showing how terrifying the ghosts could be and above all else, it was great seeing this retelling being so true to the original story, as the part of Ignorance and Want were indeed a part of the original story written by Dickens himself. About halfway through this reaction, but I’m glad you’re watching it (again?) as an adult. Though I loved it as a kid, it was a lot funnier to me when I was older. The adults are hilariously atrocious. They spoil their kids, but clearly they don’t actually protect them. Their parenting method does their children no favors. They want the chocolate as much as anyone and usually aren’t going to give it to some kid. Btw, the man from Paraguay with the fake golden ticket is actually, according to his picture, is actually a N*z* war criminal!! (I think this one didn’t survive, but a lot of them escaped to the Americas.) 1/

1. I first saw it when I was 10. 2. Roald Dahl the book author was a well-known LSD user. (you can see why). He also didn't like this adaptation of his book. That's why we got the Tim Burtin/Johnny Depp remake. 3. The Umpa Lumpas told the reverent portion of the story. Anything beyond that would have been unnecessary and overkill. 4. I suspect Wonka knew which children would win the tickets (lessons for our behalf) because Slugworth/Mr. Wilkenson was at the scene almost immediately. 5. Many people (especially women) seem to get a creepy feeling from Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka. 6. This is the only roll Peter Ostrum/Charlie. He's now a veterinarian. 7. After reading the script, Gene Wilder said he would take the role of Willy Wonka under one condition: That he would be allowed to limp, then suddenly somersault in the scene when he first meets the children. When director Mel Stuart asked why, Wilder replied that having Wonka do this meant that "from that time on, no one will know if things are real or not." Stuart asked, "If I say no, you won't do the picture?" and Wilder said, "I'm afraid that's the truth." 8. Fun fact: Veruca/Julie Dawn Cole didn't have any adult with her when they went to Germany to film the movie so Gene Wilder himself stepped in to make sure she was taken care of.🤗 9. You can get away with anything in a musical.

The big fan theory right now is that lucifer couldn't interfere until after lute had killed dazzle, in the first episode adam/lute mention that a deal was made ot spare the hellborn (anyone created/born in hell and not human sinners) and lucifer wouldn't interfere with the extermination. when lute killed dazzle the deal was breaking (you can see her mask glitch when its on the ground) then it was fully broken when adam started attacking charlie which allowed lucifer to finally help.

Fun Fact: In the scary boat scene, The actors and the kid actors except Gene Wilder (Willy Wonka) and probably the oompa loompas too, didn't know about the scene and they were actually scared in real life and when Gene Wilder was singing and screaming his lines, everybody thought that he was actually going crazy, but it's so funny that everyone was staying in character even when they didn't know about this scene being so scary 😂

Buckle up for episode 4. It hits hard. Not going to spoil it but .... yeah it hits hard and they upped the age rating for the episode. Its one of the best episodes. But its gonna hit hard.

This film was my childhood but I also enjoy ‘Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory’.

If you take a second look at the man from Paraguay who made up a phoney ticket was Martin Bormann. Martin Bormann was a Nazi who was once Adolf Hitler’s right-hand man.

That’s what makes Carmilla such an interesting character. Despite being a demon, she clearly loves her daughters. If she started investing in a rebellion against Heaven, she and her family would be prime targets to be completely obliterated.
