I’ve never been to red lobster, but I’d say it’s like if boba and a tea biscuit had a cheesy baby. It’s fluffier than boba but more chewy/gooey than a tea biscuit. The most important factor, is they are delicious and addictive. 😋
Me and other people tried it, made by a Brazilian and nobody liked it. I guess it depends on who makes it. It was very bland and glutinous. No flavor at all and hard to eat.

Or add two extra full spoons of tapioca flower on the batter. Sometimes the eggs are too large so it is kind of tricky
is your milk hot when you add it to the flour? it’s very important that the milk is hot to cook the tapioca flour

It’s definitely chewy and crispy on the outside slightly gooey in the center with an amazing cheese flavor. Definitely a must try!
