    I think this is more important than learning stum patterns. What do you think?

      Tomas Michaud agree. I learned strum patterns first but it doesn't fix a lack of dynamic awareness.

      you can always learn it all and spit it out or you can feel it all and express it out ..

      Tomas, let me think of something and I'll definitely let you know! I'm just starting off playing guitar, I fiddled around with my fathers many years ago and wanted to learn...it's tough starting out when you're this old! I appreciate your videos!

      @@TomasMichaud Hi Tomas, I tried this the other day and boy did it help! I was / am having trouble counting and playing simultaneously and this has helped a lot.

      @@TomasMichaud Thanks Tomas, seems to have helped, but I am pretty lax in my practicing. As an older guy still in the workforce it's difficult to make time to practice..

    ..loved the "Hey" at the beginning ( holding your weapon of choice ) .. :) What chords would you recommend we use once we've practiced moving along the neck -(initially with no sound).?!? Thanks Tomas.

    In exercises 2 are you just hitting the high e 1st string and low e 6th string or are you hitting more than one high and low strings?
