"Have you tried strumming the guitar with your fingers and wondering if you're
doing it right?"
me: nah, i already know im not doing it correct
ahaha
relatable
Same 😂
Same brother 😭
I learned to play without a pick because every time I tried to use one, it goes flying away, or I slip and drop it. So I preferred finger strumming. But when I strum, my fingers do a formation as if I'm holding a pick... :D
Same same. I kust dont mnow what to use anymore. Lol
Use a thinner pick, less resistance
@Manappy YT That's what we hope for atleast.
6:13 - Technique #1
6:23 - Technique #2
6:33 - Technique #3
6:43 - Technique #4
*Bonus Technique*
6:56 - *Mute Strum* ⬇⬆🔇⬆
*Next Bonus Technique*
7:56 - Base Note to a Strrum
8:32 - Spanish Sound (Just Flick)
Thanks... that's cool!
Thanks for the TimeStamps!
I’ve been subscribed to WAY too many guitar lesson channels. I would recommend people stick with a couple (Tomas Michaud being one of them) if you have too many, it’s only going to confuse you and slow your progress....trust me on this. Thanks Tomas. Your instruction is very helpful to my progress.
Thank you Mark... made my day :)
I strum with my thumb and do fingerpicking, but it depends on the hymn or song I am playing. I never ever use a pick at all. I prefer the softer sound of thumb strumming with low action, and lean toward ballads and mellow songs. Appreciate you sharing your technique. Thank you, Sir.
You're very welcome John. I enjoy learning how others do this. Thanks for commenting.
Ha ha oh my. I have no soul in my strumming. I really appreciate this video 😂
Thanks, Audrey. You can do it. It just takes time but you can definitely do it :)

Thank you so much for this, honestly this is the video that helped me the most, I love strumming without a pick and the fact that finally I found a tutorial with a Spanish guitar is 10 times better! All I see are acoustic guitars and I struggle trying to get the same sound when my guitar is different so thank you for this!

Am so bad with strumming. My fingers keep getting caught in between strings on up strokes 😏
MINE TOO
Try to make your hand as free as possible....do all the techniques with just a free hand...i mean your fingers and wrist movement should be stiff-free
@@ashutoshsingh73 Wait
Ankle movement?
go slower and lighter.. skim the strings .. or youre gonna snap one soon
@@Sam-qc6sz by mistake bro..i meant wrist movement...
