MotoGP22 is finally upon us, today i will be trying out the final build for the 1st time and comparing it to my time on a preview build & giving my thoughts... Enjoy!!
The change in lighting around the tracks from cloud cover sounds good, would be amazing if it turns out to be dynamic, imagine a game with dynamic track temperature, would go on my wish list if the game wasn't already too hard for me.
Ah, the video I have been waiting for from the person whose insights I most respect on these games. Got this today, PS4, only had a little go on it, initial reactions are less movement under brakes and in corners, slightly less braking power, curbs less sensitive, but overall feels a development of MGP21 rather than a new issue. Which I'm fine with. I tested with Remy Gardner on the KTM at Sepang, my usual test track, and was 1.5 secs outside my normal time. So there's tweaking to do.
The colour palette looks a lot better. 21 always felt like it was burning my eyes with so much contrast and shine on the apex away in the distance blurring the corners from over the top contrast.
There's not alot you can do with RHD I've set it to semi automatic and it works a charm like it should on straights I tried it manually aswell you can press it on corner entry and it won't compress until your through the corner and the bikes standing up I have noticed on semi automatic mandalika! circuit there's one or two short straights before braking that it doesn't activate on semi automatic so after judging where to press just before I'm on these short straights it comes on and boy do you notice that extra acceleration before the brake zone
Disappointed with no option for windows vibration feedback setting like on motogp21. I'm on PC and that made the game much better for me. Hopefully it'll come in a patch. Thanks for your thoughts and upload.
just have to correct you abit. you are going to deep before the corner. u need to come from as wide as u can into the corner for quicker and shorter corner range. hold abit longer on the outside
Dude I'm devastated I said I wouldn't pre order and I did.i did it for the 09 season man the sense of speed when I took control of stoners bike was soul destroying. I'm getting alot of consistent understeer Also feels like some invisible force pushing on the bike it doesn't feel free or lose its like there's an aid on but there's none selected Yes the apex is shocking easing off helps I'm at TCS 2 and AW 2 something doesn't feel right. It should be illegal to release it without official bikes
I have the rear stepping out beautifully I take back what I said 😂 after alot of hours gameplay it's bloody brilliant and yes it might need a small tweak hopefully just refining what is potentially the best handling GP game in years I had a photo finish at Qatar against quartararo difficulty at 100% and it was the best race I've ever had on any Moto GP game You can really feel the front end digging inn and what's happening with the bike I never touched Portugal on 21 because of the crazy behaviour on the up and down sections but on 22 it's absolutely bliss I'd recommend blasting around it for a couple laps it's a completely different track on 22 the bike feels great
About the 22 liveries, it'll be added starting may, according to the release trailer. It's been like that for latest releases since the game is under development for several months, way before the 2022 season starts. It's not a game breaker since it's only a few weeks ahead. It's a sports franchise game with yearly releases, bit people want games with 3 or more years of development of quality, that's just unrealistic...

with moto gp 22 on the PS4 I have noticed it might just be my mind playing tricks on me but with turn 1 at Qatar when the bike starts to raise up after being squatted down due to the RHD the rear wheel almost wants to start going into the air and also it does seem to improve acceleration not by much but a little bit definitely so it does have some physics impact

Thanks!! Most of the lost time is in braking so far for me,they feel alot less powerful compared to previous games

Glad to hear it had improved from the preview build. Nice bud same opinions on the feeling of it. See what a few more days into it does for laptimes

Great game , how can I view best lap replay as have seen in some preview videos?
In time trial or a different mode,I don't think you can watch back your laps in anything but time trial

Yeah the fact we don't have the 22 bikes is criminal imo,the physics do need a small tweak but overall they are better

I get that weird feeling too when the RHD deactivates,sometimes it makes braking harder for me

GP22 is better in my opinion but it's harder, I personally would go for GP22 but it's not finished so maybe give a few weeks for them to patch it
