I’d love to see you do a series in RiMS. I just opened that game for the first time in a while, and was surprised by how happy I was to see the bike that I’d been using in career mode before. The sense of ownership I feel for the ZX-10 that I ride in it is unique compared to any game I’ve played. (The amount you can customize…) I know I’d enjoy watching that process, perhaps others would as well.
Edit: and by a while I mean like 2 weeks

Picked up GP bikes yesterday because of your videos and I ride like this on controller. I can only imagine how weird a wheel is.
For me, play station type controller is impossible, used to use a joystick to play GP500 back in the day but now I have a DD wheel n pedals. Wrong as it is its the only way I can get smooth inputs. Steering ratio set to 110-120 with force feedback (reversed) is the best solution, I'm also in VR, offers a nice experience.

I've been league racing with a wheel and fpv for about a year now. I've won a few and am getting podium more often. I cannot recommend it enough. So so so good once you get around the learning curve. And set it up well. Dyl it looks like your setup could use some tweaks. 😉
Try 80-90 rotation, feels a bit better when closer. FFB will break your wrist, 50-60 provides tangible feel on the front end. Direct steer set to 100. No curves needed for configuration unless for a button.
I have a video on it about half scripted. Might motivate on that if there's interest.

you need a high sensitivity on a wheel and lock the rotation to 180° or so to be able to go full lean to another quickly I think
In my local league, there's three guys that play with a wheel. They say that the precision is nice
I remember being told it gives better feeling with braking because of the way the game works,but for me I'll never look past my controller!

I use a G29 and in motogp these days in mugello i did 1:44.7 x 1:45.2 (the time i did on controller) yet not feeling 100% on wheel but i can feel this is much better.

I wish they made handle bars for bike games like they make wheels for car games. Did you use the pedals for gas/brake?

@@Dyl469 I just have limited rotation of the wheel to the same value as maximum bike lean. Feels like leaning bike to me :P
But for hardcore/direct steer settings it's big no.. no... Muslce memory have LSD vibes xD
can i use ps4 controller for gp bikes and lean at different angles you know

Probably would be easier if you did it in FPV.
My wheel settings are a million miles off,in 1st pov it was way worse 😅
