As Rebl said: this was high speed blues. I love them being in a good mood. I'm looking forward to seeing their Rockpalast show - filmed by at least four pro HD cameras.
I love all the versions of this, it’s “out of the curve”, as we say in Brasil. This one is out of the whole parable!! Julie, você acerta todas! Thank you!
Rebecca seems to be very respectful and studious and she wants to learn and know. If she wants to sing the truth and about deep things, she'd do well to listen to Merle. I could see him giving her great ideas on song writing, but I agree that she'd take those ideas and write her songs in her own style and what suits LP. @@JulieMeyers
Johnny Paycheck was not the great Merle Haggard. Merle was one of the greatest song writers of all time. His early, difficult life and experiences informed his music. He was known as the poet for the common man. Songs like Sing Me Back Home are incredibly good. Sing Me Back Home was based on his experiences in San Quentin State Prison. I've been in the execution chamber at San Quentin. I was offered to sit in the gas chamber chair; I declined. @@JulieMeyers
"Lord have Mercy"! Thanks for posting this, Julie!
So glad you appreciate it like I do. Thanks for listening!
It's very nice to see these intimate videos, and then notice their new live shows maintaining the same honest connection with people.
Love this version of the song. Go Megan-you rock!🤘🎸

Looking forward to it, too. They are always in a good mood.
Just watched full RAZZMATAZZ show film. So proud of their achievements. The show you mentioned sounds worthy of them. Can't wait.
Brings back memories of Johnny Winter shows for me. Always love R & M's renditions of classics. Thanks, Julie for this. Bella White is here next week.
Hell yeah!!
Damn, thats good

Sounds amazing! Such a classic tune!
It doesn't get much more bluesy than this. 👍👍👍
Rebecca jumps and shoots too fast sometimes. Haha. Megan pulls it off. They are the best!
Do you think Merle Haggard could teach Rebecca a thing or two? 😊@@JulieMeyers
@@audiophileman7047 Not really. She's one of a kind... Her style is unique and she might get influence, but, she does everything her way.

Wow ❤❤
Great version of a classic. Did you ever notice that Rebecca snaps with her ring fingers instead of her middle fingers?
They both have a hard time snapping their fingers.
Without any rhythm or anything else that can be considered musical I snap with my ring finger too.
