I can still remember how I felt the first time I heard Larkin Poe on You Tube. Bleach Blonde Bottle Blues, a tribute to Megan from Rebecca or their cover of Skip James' Hard Time Killing Floor Blues was the first song I heard. I fell in love with their excellent musicianship right away. What has impressed me so much is their love for many different types of great music and their reverence for American roots music. ❤ If it is a joy for them to connect with music lovers, it is an absolute joy for this audiophile to hear their wonderful musical art. 😻
These sisters are such talented musicians and lovely, generous people. The musical world is a better place with them in it. We’ve been lucky enough to see them live a few times and talk with them at their gigs and they are just amazing. So happy for them with their Grammy & Americana wins - looking forward to their new album, Bloom, coming out in January!! 🎸🔥🎸🔥🤘😎🤘💖💖
