I’m having an issue with the oil pressure light coming on. So I changed the oil pressure sensor unit. Now this code is popping up. I have a non-VCM Honda/Acura V6 engine (2009 Acura TL).
Iv replaced the valve twice and done two oil changes in 100 miles and after the motor warms up it still goes into limp mode with this code. Any ideas? Mines a 2005 with 213K miles. Just bought it and drove it a few hundred miles before the issue surfaced.
Try changing oil and filter, that can beer stopped up. Don't use oil n additives! Check computer data and see what engine oil pressure reads. It's gets very technical from here likely will have to go to a shop with scan tools and pressure gauges if you don't have the ability to
Hi. I just got this engine rebuild and this has happened to me 3 times already. I changed the oil and filter within 250 of installing the engine and I just ordered this vvt valve and installed and ran fined for 58 miles and now the P2647 is back on. Any ideas ?

so if i have new vtec selenoid new oil new filter and still getting the code must likely is the oil pump

That’s a VETEC VALVE. NO VCM
