I have 2 eqp-wa on my 2 bus and love them. But i got to say that after some testing with plugin doctor, to match the eq curves from both units i needed to set them differently. For exemple boost 1.5 @ 60hz on one unit and boost 2 the second unit. Just be aware of this. Btw, yes i calibrated both unit (without the eq engaged) with a sine wave using the screws on the back before testing the curves with plugin doctor.

I have two! 👋
I mixed my album Wave One with 2 of these on the master bus. I also used it to track almost everything.
Been using it every day since more than a year in my vocal chain and i am absolutely in love with it
I have two of these and absolutely love em. Would not be without them. I also have 2 Klark Technik Eqp's but for me not nearly as good.
Are you using the 2 units on a stereo mix???I have 2 Klark also and the outputs on the 2 are unmatched👎
@@teyerancealfred7178 its true i also had a pair of these and the outputs was out by 1.5dB
@@teyerancealfred7178 ok i need help this is the millionth time i've heard people talking about getting two of each unit i need to get schooled on why its important to get two for a stereo mix it might be very obvious but i'm just not connecting the dots here.
@@RayoBeatz Because a stereo mix has a right (channel 1) and left (channel 2). Most of the gear you are looking at is likely one channel so wouldn’t be able to handle a stereo mix. You can use one of the units in your signal chain recording as an input no problem and also out on a mono mix with no problem. But one unit can’t eq two different signals at once. Make sense?
@@pizzawarfare it does and it should have since i work itb in daws and its litterly the same shit but i just wasn't thinking.
REALLY wish the output Tube Gain adjustment was implemented when I bought a pair of these soon after they were first released. My serial consecutive pair aren't volume matched, and I have no way of fixing it. Bought them to use across my mix buss but one side is 2dB louder than the other, so I'm left SOL.
@Scott Stone Hi Scott, thanks for the reply. I'll be emailing you shortly with a few follow up questions. Cheers!
Awesome video
Is it possible to get a new set of knobs from you? ... One of my EQPs was used, and one knob is broken. THANK YOU!
Question. Since this is mono. When I’m mastering and want to use this hardware. Would this only affect things in mono?
Hey there!
Yes, you'd need 2 units for stereo mastering since this is a single-channel unit. Let us know if you need anything else!

Cuales son sus medidas?
Why two channel if you recommend not using both?
Hey Anthony! This is a single-channel piece of gear. It's designed to give you the option of an XLR or TRS output though...Not to be used at the same time. One or the other.
@@WarmAudioOfficial oh
getting one 4 sure
Why no tube preamp?
This is a tube equalizer, specifically designed for EQ. However, you can bypass the EQ and still have your signal pass through the circuitry/transformers of the gear to provide the desired saturation/warmth to your signal.
Hidden secret. Get them while they're cheap. In ten years these will be worth twice to three times the price. We have a new classic. Copper wire is running low in global supplies, and so these these soon will be highly sought after. And they sound simply delicious. (I agree with other posters - just just go ahead and buy a pair, so you have lovely set for your stereo mix bus.)
what does boosting and cutting at the same time do?
A typical use of this technique using this type of EQ is done on kick drum. If you cut all of the frequencies below 60 Hz, any weird rumbles off-axis are filtered out. At the same time, you can also boost at 60Hz to give the kick drum more low end importance and authority. Hope that helps!
@@WarmAudioOfficial thanks :)
One example that comes to mind is a boost and cut at 60 for guitar does a great job of adding a unique thickening to the tone. It's one of my favorite tricks in Pultec VSTs... one day I'll buy the real thing haha
Great product but this video needs a de-esser
No it doesn't. Learn that acxepted eq range in mixing and engineering changes with tastes of the times, this is what the taste of the times are, learn to adjust and mold. Best wishes.
Wurmple is more like it
Nothing like pultec
Epic fail on sound
Can you provide an actual criticism
@@yourroastedterryflaps5712 Even if it isn't an exact copy. It's great quality for the price. I'm really happy with the new "clones" companies are coming out with. No fails on this unit. Epic or otherwise.
