don't have hardware EQ's yet! In the box for surgical stuff I'll go for the Infinity EQ by Slate Digital, and everything else I use fruity parametric 2 (FL studio stock). Sometimes on my masters i'll use the RareSE pultec emulation by Analog Obsession. I find the Pultec sound to be really smooth and perfect for tone shaping. Thanks for making this video!
Nice! I've gotten a great sound with running bass thru it as well. I also love to use it on drum overheads. I've been super happy with my SSL purchases so far!
Could you make a video on setting up a patchbay & outboard gear directly to an interface... I have a Focusrite 18i8 3rd Gen & maaan I'm trying to figure out an expansion route
Totes! I've done a few video on how I have mine setup, but nothing super in depth on how the whole rack is setup with the interface routing. If you watched a few of my videos, you might be able to piece it together, but it'd probably be easier if I did a dedicated vid.
thank u zach for this video .. The sound is different from any of my plugins It seems that Warm Audio has a special character, I will add this unit to the shopping cart.
Are you able to hear the cuts at 20K? I'm not sure if the High Frequency Cut Knob affects the Boost High Frequency Selector - I think it is separated out to only control the Cut High Frequency Selector. In other words - the Boost / Cut trick seems like it only works with the 20 - 800 Hz Selector. Do you know?
Hi there. I was doing some research into the Behringer tm300 which you did a review on and I was hoping you might be able to answer a few small questions of mine. I'm looking for a quality American standard tweed sound for my hollow body Epiphone p93. I just have a small 20w orange amp, this is all just for recording at home. The sound I really want is a Fender Blues Delux or Jr, but I can't afford to spend any more money than just like 50 bucks. I was hoping mixing this pedal in would get me a lot closer to my goal. What do you think? If not, have any suggestions?
Hmmmm.... If that is your budget, I think you would be pretty happy with it. I think once you get it dialed in, you should be pretty close for the price. I would just suggest with that pedal, a little adjustment goes a long way.
@@ZachWirchak thank you for your help! Do you have any higher price suggestions in case I do plan on spending more on a year or so? Like if my budget increases to like $200, is there one you'd recommend for getting that Blues Delux sound?
@@TheFresnan22 If you bumped to $200, I'd suggest taking a look at the actual Fender pedals then. They range from around $70-200. Take a listen to some demo videos and one of those might get you real close to that Deluxe sound!
I love using mine on my master bus! So each unit is single channel, so for a master bus you'll want 2, bit in the meantime any thing that is a single channel it'll work great on. It's very popular on bass guitar, it's also great for overheads, acoustic guitar, synth... it's really great on everything. But 2 of them can REALLY open up your mix.
@@ZachWirchak thanks A lot!! I bought it as a vocal chain package that came with the warm audio preamp and compressor and mic so i imagined it was meant to be used for vocals but now dont hear anybody talking about it. thanks again bro
@@Idonttakethisseriously I actually just used them on some vocals the other day for the first time and it works great! Added some nice shimmer to the vocals, but didn't make them harsh either.
Hey Phil, I run two of these into the inputs and outputs of my Apollo x8P, with the 8 there should be 8 sets of inputs and outputs on the back, if you are not currently occupying space on the back of your unit, definitely plug these in and route them with Apollo console system. following that then route them in your DAW and assign them as hardware plugins. Hope this helps!
What is you're favorite EQ? Plugin or hardware?

Hey thanks for doing this!
Absolutely! Thanks for watching!
That was an awesome video man. I really enjoyed that. Love the music!
Thank you for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed the video!
I primarily only use my EQP-WA for bass with a Lindell LiN76 compressor and to me sounds really good. I’m primarily an SSL EQ on my guitars

It absolutely has something special about it. Plugins just can't get the same sound! You'll love them!
Can you also use this eq for an audio set, as in a livingroom set up?
If you had the correct cables/gear, I don't see why you couldn't!
Did you write the tune? It is really good. I like it! What is it called?
