Awesome! I loved the book and I was at the Gathering! Wonderful!
***SPOILER WARNING***
I just finished Green, it was a great book with a horribly contrived ending. I had gone through the trouble of reading the books as much in order as possible to see how the world connected... Black, Red, White, Showdown, House, Saint, Skin, Chosen Infidel, Renegade, Chaos, Lunatic, Elyon, Sinner...then Green. I will continue on to read the other books in the world, but Green did set up certain things that are bitter truths, people fall, Billos, Billy, Samuel and even Janae. Billos seemed like he had a shot at a redemption in the Lost Books, Billy had a redemption arc in Sinner! But they were both denied. The only reason we are even interested in Samuel and Janae is that these are children of characters were are already emotionally invested in, Thomas and Monique. I was hoping for just one, just one of them to have some kind of redemption, though I was hoping for two at least, Billos and Billy, but neither one got one.
So, because I still need to read Immanuel's Veins and the Beyond the Circle books I know there may be some threads left for future books but I have issues with some things that happened in the whole story up to this point. And here they are....
***RANT***
In Sinner, we learn that Billy, Darcy, and Johnny are the only kid's left from project Showdown, that means the survivors in Skin are all dead!
Who the heck is the new Billy? And where did he go? Does this lead into a new series?
Why was Rachelle never mentioned? Yes, I accept that Marie and Samuel call Chelise mother, but we got zero reference to their birth mother who they would of had memories of.
Johnny Drake was built up in Saint to be some great hero but it never emerged in Sinner, and I really thought he and maybe Darcy should of had a role in to play in Green.
Did Quorong totally forget about Patricia at the end? She is in the city, she's going to get consumed, if Ted left a way for Quorong to be redeemed, why not anyone left in the city?
And for that matter, all the people on that planet, with the exception of anyone from the modern earth, they are all his descendants.
Why no mention by Kara and Monique of what Billy and Darcy caused in the States? Shouldn't that have lasting ramifications around the globe?
Who the heck is Jezreal, she seemed like a better way to explain why Billos was never redeemed. I was intrigued with her character but she is only present for Janae to have a body for a few minutes.
Why wasn't Karas given at least a cameo in Green, and more than just a letter in Sinner?
Did they all forget that Elyon had died as Justin? Since Ted wants to connect Elyon with God and Justin with Jesus, shouldn't that be a reference?

...as mentioned, Anti-Crist Billy, where did Janae go, Johny Drake just kicking back in hiding, Patricia about to be eaten, did Quorong make it, what about Johnis, Sylvie, Darsal, and Marak (while they had a good wrap up in Elyon, did they get taken to Heaven/Paradise with everyone else at the end of Green? Or are they in yet another Earth?
Can anyone tell me if these loose threads are covered in other books?

Can someone explain to me the alternate ending? I cannot find it anywhere on the Net.
And also... I think it's in White, when Thomas reads in the Books of History about a guy named Kevin.... is that Kevin from Thr3e?
Well, I don't really care of how weird Ted gets, he is entertaining me for the most part, he's not my pastor and I probably don't agree with some of his theology, but I read both secular and Christian fiction and I have a special place in my heart for the fantasy genre, so while others complain about it, I don't. I have enjoyed some of his other books and will continue to read his books. I guess I can't have all my wishes in stories fulfilled.
just saw on IMDB that Ted dekker's book black is in pre production for 2016 is it becoming a movie. If so than the circle series are getting movies
i LOOOVE the circle trilogy and ted dekker!!! and this book was AMAZING! it was so real and I couldnt put it down for a million dollars. I highly recommend reading it if you havent:)

nahhh if they do a movie, they gotta make it of the WHOLE History Chronicals! sooo not missing out on the Lost Books, the Paradise Novels, and and Mortals Series! dont forget those are all connected to the Circle!
Wow. I read the Lost Books Series and then the Circle Trilogy before this one but I eagerly devoured it. Diving deep into the heart of Dekker a fuller sense of the world of color is shaped. A critical piece that leaves you weeping and wanting more though you know there can't. But it is the beginning or is it the end?.... Will also warn that it is darker than the others but still an enjoyable read.

Im new to the series, and I have to say its like drugs! I can't get enough!
I loved the whole series. Yes, dekker did kind of throw a curveball with the ending of green, but it is what makes The Circle Series a circle.
I just want to see those books in a real movie.

was it just me or did anyone else notice that Teeleh's eyes had a pupil? It says in the books that he has pupil-less eyes O_O lol; and @Bull1500, Rachelle's father is Palus.

I'm probably a little different to most of you guys in that I read green before the other 3. From what I've read, it probably works better as a first book. I enjoyed it just as much as the others. To me, they are all great. It is those four books that have gotten me back into reading. It really takes a good book to keep me interested. I just couldn't put them down. It would make an awsome movie series though & would need to be done without the sad B-grade limpness of the thr3e movie. It was bad

thomas married tanis's daughter and then tanis became a scab named qurong and thomas's wife was killed in red then married Chelise who is Qurong's other daugther wouldnt that mean he married his sister in law

@sorra360 Yeah haha after i read it, i was so mad too but, i guess that's what makes the circle... but it made me so sad so i made a new ending, with the rest of the circle, Chelsea and Samuel are still alive with Thomas and Kara is with them after running away from the Horde. i like it better haha

Okay this series is cool but the sic-fi plot is bad because... well it then overrides the whole book of revelation. I was choked by the whole Circle ending because it neglect and fails to acknowledge eternity. NO attack against the way he writes is awesome and I have great respect for what he has accomplished but its not what he does that wrong but HOW he does it.

I actually enjoyed red but then I got bored and lost interest while reading green.
that book wasn't that great... honestly. i loved the other ones but this one was just.. i don't know, i didn't like the ending i guess.
