This is one of the first videos on UA-cam I liked from over 10 years ago , January 5, 2021. I hope lots of the original fans still rewatch to this day. I wish everyone all the best congrats on surviving 2020.
It's now 2022 if you survived 2021 and 2020 know that 2022 won't be any easier. Good luck all. Hail the holy adams fire!
Here’s to 2022 !!
it still pops into my head at random and i have to go listen to it again
Hell I remember finding them out in 2006 after seeing their "Completely Uncalled For" video. My sister and I would constantly go around doing that skit. I really do miss OG UA-cam.
Surviving the biggest mass formation psychosis in the history of mankind. Yes.
7 years later and I can still recite this off by heart. Yikes.
+Gasoline Baby you rock, man.
+Gasoline Baby i love you your my nurse
+shane 2 I am not a qualified medical professional.
Are you sure about that?
dampfoxes
This song actually helps me with remembering the chronological order of events in the Bible.
If jahovahs witnesses came up to my door and did this rap I wouldn't feel the need to slam my door in their face
hzuiel
Everyone hates Jehova's Witnesses...
***** Except that Jehovah's Witnesses don't believe in hell as a place of torment. Try again.
hzuiel
What exactly is your point to that? You went for the most trivial weak point there.
Like I said, salesmen get the same treatment. But you're right, I shouldn't have used something I knew was false from the start, it was dishonest. So let me be transparent here.
They are annoying, AND they are peddling mythical garbage that is completely irrelevant to my life and those of my loved ones. THAT is why I slam the door on them. Better?
***** No, that isn't particularly better, for a number of reasons. First of all, slamming a door in someone's face is rude. If they aren't being rude to you, that is rather uncalled for. As much as you may hate religion or consider it mythical garbage, there is no rudeness or ill will involved in what amounts to offering you something that you just so happen to not be interested in. If they came to the door hooting and hollering and calling you a sinner, and insulting your way of life to your face, right out of the gate, I would say you would be justified in being rude, and slamming the door. In this case though, why not a simple "no thank you" or even "i'm really not interested in learning about your teachings, i'd prefer if you never came back"?
Beyond that, if people coming to your door infuriates you so badly, put up a sign or something. If you have a house you can put up no trespass signs and they can't approach the house. You can put a sign on the door that says no religious calls or soliciting, or "do not disturb for any reason." You could even ignore answering the door in the first place. It's pretty obvious if someone is a neighbor kid, UPS man, or people in suits. There are just better ways to deal with something like that than unprovoked rudeness.
hzuiel
People coming to my house don't infuriate me. I do get annoyed however when they try to peddle useless shit. And if they also happen to be talking about fairies, aliens, gods or leprechauns, it is all the more irritating because it is a reminder that people still take stuff like that seriously.
I stopped caring about random strangers feelings years ago as far as them coming to my door is concerned. I don't want them to get the wrong message, so I make it very clear.
Their presence is unwanted by me and mine. Simple point, simply made. However, I have to go, so I'll resume this later.
And I spent three years at Bible College for this. :-|
don't you mean seminary school?
TheEman1298
Mmmm... not sure. Are you using an American term? I'm in Australia, and I went to the Bible College of Queensland for three years.
Keith Bennett im attending New Tribes Bible Institute, seminary is just a different term people who go to seminary generally turn into pastors but i do believe its an american term.
Tyler Schultz Yes, it sounds like the same thing. :-) I went to learn more about my faith, rather than with an aim to be a pastor.
***** Officially, I achieved a Bachelor of Ministries, which included many varied subjects, including two years of Theology.
2023. Randomly thought about this video and I can’t get it out of my head.
2019, this gets brought up, my bro and I recite it perfectly. Everyone, including ourselves are scared
For 50% of my religion exam, I had to summarize the entire Bible and all of its major events. I quoted this video and got perfect on the section! ACING UNIVERSITY EXAMS FTW! Thanks baratsandbereta! :)
if mormons or Jehovah's witness came to my house like this i'd be less likely to shut the door
My 9 yr. old grandson still comes to watch this, 3 yrs later, and he can sing most of it too!
I 1st saw it, having shown it to my kids (his mom & my son) back in 2008. Me & the kid always feel the need to revisit!
this is the best mixtape I've ever heard
Rock and roller, cola wars, I can't take it anymore!
My religious teacher showed this to us in class the other day
Same! Except for you “the other day” was 4 years ago....

2023. Just pulled this up to show to my partner and husband (two people). How time flies.
Why does there have to be a theological debate the second anything related to Christianity, or religion is mentioned? Can we not just enjoy the video for the ENTERTAINMENT it was created to be?
Nope.
Nope, UA-cam atheists
The problem is that this video is far from entertaining.
That's true. I am an atheist binging Christian videos. I see nothing bad about this so maybe I should stop being so closed-minded.
Who is still watching in 2018? :D
This is such a relic, omg. I still know all the words almost 12 years later.
12 years and same, this is the only about the Bible I like. Also my first time seeing how and not realizing how awesome he is
Who is watching this on 2016 ? :D

I shall sit here forever until I learn it all the way through!!
Why am I just now seeing this? It is now my favorite video ever
Can we just take a sec to appreciate their choreography..?!?!
Did it just take me 7 years to realize that this is in the tune of "We Didn't Start the Fire"...
omg your right
Oh my macaronia ajdiiwodehwki what I learned this in Sunday School as a wee lad and didn’t I know this up..
Yes it did and it took me too
It's *not* to the tune of "We Didn't Start the Fire". It has the same rhythm, so they kind of missed an opportunity there.
one of the first videos I saw of B&B back in the days... still one of my favorites
13 years later still stuck in my head
I am a pastor and I'm using this awesome video in my message this weekend... thank you Barats and Bereta.
This is AWESOME! I'm a practising Christian and I've read the Bible twice, and I have to say that this is pretty accurate. Absolutely fantastic!

I still get this stuck in my head sometimes and probably always will 😂
AWSOME!!! My teacher shows this and it never gets old, and trust me she shows it ALOTZ
bible in 53 seconds
Here's what I think: This video is awesome. Also, God created everything through the ways of science.
How convenient that god made everything in a way that looks like no god created it.
But its okay we have books so we can have faith
Mike Hall What would a world that God created look like, if this world doesn't look like it? Alternatively, if God did create this world, then what would a world that God didn't create look like?
Spinner891
Less math more magic. Thats how a world built by a true god would be.
I don't mean to suggest that I don't believe in God but did you know that there are other animals that can see a 9th distinct color? Some can even see 10! We can't imagine what they are and we can't imagine what a world without God would be like (unless somehow this is it.)
+Jared Brooks
Yo uh... any computer can display like 4 billion colours. Gotta say that videos would look pretty shit with only 9 colours.
Ten commandments. promised land. Love it! God bless.
This made me laugh way more than it should have :) it's awesome! Good work guys!

Thank you!!! That's all I want. For us all to coexist and respect each others' differences.
This makes me laugh every time!!!! So good! I like the description! "Ever wanted to learn everything and yet nothing about the Bible all at the same time? Then this video is for you... "
Omg, is that Joe Bereta? XD
if i ever open a church, i might show this.
Same here! My cousin introduced me to them. we watched a bunch of their videos on thanksgiving
This video has, and will continue to stand the test of time.
If you don't believe in God, then that is okay. What isn't okay is harshly bashing other religions, and thinking you're going to influence people to change religions. Christianity has existed for a long time, so just deal with it, and accept the existence of it.
We are bashing religions, not the people who practice religions, and it's usually out of frustration because something so clearly in sight with the use of some critical thinking and common sense is so easily overlooked by so many, especially today with all the knowledge we accumulated.
It's not even that we're bashing believers of god. It's the bull shit called religion where men tell other men that the books they wrote were the word of god and take peoples' souls hostage by saying they'll be eternally damned (because that's what their book says).
herpderpmonkey Yeaaaa, I don't have time for you. Go away. The chance of you influencing someone is slim to nothing.
vXelerate... Jesus, did you even read what i wrote? I'm not trying to influence anyone.
I'm not even debating (which has its merits even if you think its fruitless).
herpderpmonkey I regret to inform you that when you bash religion, you bash the followers as well. especially the ones who feel strongly about it.
Theirs a unity which comes with religion, whether is a strait forward and simple way to get to heaven like in Christianity (IE just believe), or a complicated way (will not say to avoid offending others), Religion Unites humanity in getting there, and leaving the world a better place then they found it.
the "saying they'll be eternally damned" didn't come round until the Catholic church started losing numbers, though you ought to know.
Riley Chance No, it's because an ideology that they adhere to is being attacked and their ego takes over. It happens all the time; even if you're proven wrong, you're likely to bolster your beliefs.
*HUMANITY* unites people, not religion. It's the moral compasses that are genetically hardwired into our brains as social animals.
I like how people begin their comment with, "I am an atheist...." just in case they can't communicate effectively with any subtlety in the delivery of the comment. "Hey just in case you actually don't trust me, I will now tell you because you know- faith n shit, trust me I have no reason to lie to you..." It's like going to an interview and having been asked to sell the idea of how you could benefit the company..."Well, first off I am an atheist...." Thanks for coming in....
I loved this and I haven't been to church (many reasons most not having anything to do with my relationship with God) in years. This brings me back to my great youth group days with VBS and Summer Camp.
so clever and funny, one of the few talents on youtube that deserve their subscribers
Who else is here in 2024?
Here!❤
I didn't understand any of that
Man I found this in 2021 🤣🤣🤣 I watched this during the old days of youtube. It brings me back
It is so good, thanks God, God bless you
You forgot Ecclesiastes
The Bible is great. It's the people who apply it to reality that I don't like.
Yea, i hate people who base their lives off of love and other Christlike principles. Maybe you should consider reading the Bible so you don't sound so ignorant. Christ did away with "the old law", which covers any retort you have about the violence of the old testament, and preached Charity (love). He ate with the sinners and taught not try to worry about the mote in someone's eye when we have a beam in our own (tolerance), taught forgiveness (it is required that we forgive everyone), and generally taught that we should strive to reach our potential (be ye therefore perfect). Even the aspects that you might consider "silly" (prayer, afterlife, etc) serve a very REAL purpose for individuals, even if there was no God , and there was no afterlife. Giving people hope and purpose based on love for all people is hardly something to "not like".
Now as to what the majority of religions have done with the doctrine in the Bible, that is another matter entirely. The vast majority of Churches/Religions today =/= The Bible. Look no further than Westboro for a shining example of that. As far as the actual value that comes from individual study of the Bible though, i would submit that unless you hate love, forgiveness, tolerance, and all around respect for all human beings (again, going with the doctrine and Gospel of Christ trumping the old testament), you will be hard pressed to find a sincere follower of said principles that you dislike.
Iewkas Wait, wait wait. If God is all knowing, and all powerful, how come he changed his mind? Shouldn't he have been able to forsee that? I thought he had a plan for everyone? How are we supposed to trust his plan if he changes it? Doesn't that go against the very reason we're supposed to trust God? Aren't we supposed to have unwavering trust in God because he knows everything and knows what's best for us?
Iewkas > "be ye therefore perfect"
Well it's hard to be perfect when you ignore the beam in your eye. Superstitiousness - like ignorance - can lead to poor decisionmaking. Take for example the whole gay rights thing. As well as gender equality and slavery. In every instance Christianity fights hard against equal rights. My point is that ignoring your own assumptions leads people to be irrationally biased on critical issues.
> "Even the aspects that you might consider "silly" (prayer, afterlife, etc) serve a very REAL purpose for individuals, even if there was no God , and there was no afterlife. Giving people hope and purpose based on love for all people is hardly something to 'not like'."
Sure - I like sitting down and meditating, whether it's about my life or my morals or spirituality - that's not something that's limited to religion. Likewise empathy and altruism are limited to religion but if there's a religion advocating empathy or altruism good for them/it! However... There's a point where things get ridiculous. While I do admit that tricking someone into acting selflessly by telling them that all their good deeds will be rewarded and all their bad deeds will be punished is quite possibly a "good" method of making people treat each other nicely! Yet... When someone claims the moral high ground based on the authority that they give themselves because they believe themselves to be "spiritual", and people follow them based off of that arbitrary authority that they give themselves (or the Church gives them) then they have to live the lie, people following have to hope that their moral authority isn't ignorant about his/her decisions, and the ridiculous part - empowering yourself to lead people based on your self-proclaimed "spirituality" is absurd because no one has a soul and arbitrary decision-making based off of whoever holds the most "spiritual" authority is ... Like picking a schizophrenic at random and asking them to lead a group of people! ... I just can't explain right now how silly and ridiculous it is to make decisions for other people without any discussion, research, or planning other than "I'm always right because my imaginary friend says so!!" :) Like sure, maybe there's some nice respectable grounds for making decisions based-off intuition, but the difference between democracy and monarchy is that in democracy there's a discussion process and power is shared, whereas in a monarchy you have maybe one person making the decisions, and if those decisions are based off intuition and are directly affecting other people then you better have a damn-good intuition! Unfortunately, nobody has a benevolent ethereal sentient intelligent non-physical entity telling them the silver bullet to every complicated real life conflict!
I feel within my rights to argue for the stupidity of faith-based decisionmaking since it's quite similar to theists arguing for the validity of their God(s) based on Pascal's Wager! Pascal's Wager states that if there's a slight probability that God does exist and you're going to hell if you don't believe in him then it's statistically beneficial to believe in God! So my end-point in the above paragraph was basically... If there's the chance God doesn't exist then you've got a LOT of people wielding a LOT of authority and using their intuition and imaginary friend to make choices for other people rather than a more deliberate, meticulous, thought-out, fact-based approach to making decisions (e.g. using moral relativism to mitigate personal bias). But I suppose I'm being very general instead of specific. And of course, my opinions I've expressed are just as subjective as the next guy's. You are essentially right on your point that religion is beneficial to some people, that it can give them hope and purpose and motivate people to express empathy and altruism (or "love"), etc. However, you can do all of that with thoughtfulness, empathy, and altruism. There are alternative motivations to being a good person than listening to some guy telling you that your efforts will be rewarded to a supernatural copy of yourself that is immortal because the supernatural copy of themself heard so from their imaginary friend who happened to create all of existence! Well existence is FUCKED! We have disease, we have death, we have pain, we have suffering, we have pointless deaths, we have famine, we have ignorance, we have unfairness, we have unpreventable tragedy, we have completely-preventable tragedy, and we have a pecking order in every society, organization, and food chain. Vicious regressions of circular logic to justify every contradiction to your self-justified beliefs may keep you sane in this shitty world, but it isn't going to make you a perfect person. AND YES - THERE ARE RETARDS AND JERKS WHO ARE ATHEISTS. There are jerks and retards from every ideology, and I'm not going to start believing/stop believing in Jane Doe's belief-system just because John Doe is a good/bad person. There's assholes in every ideology. It's just... Easier to talk to the rational ones. I encourage you to do some research about reality and to do some research about the supernatural, and challenge yourself on finding a solution to the contradictions between reality and the supernatural... I was taught that if I have a model which contradicts my observations then I make a new model and test it out, and after enough rationalizing and testing I'll have a pretty decent model for whatever I'm observing (in this case - reality and the supernatural).
> "i would submit that unless you hate love, forgiveness, tolerance, and all around respect for all human beings (again, going with the doctrine and Gospel of Christ trumping the old testament), you will be hard pressed to find a sincere follower of said principles that you dislike."
Well I certainly could use more tolerance of people. And those principles do sound like a good way to make friends. If it's of any interest, I did meditate daily for nine years just to - you know - reach enlightenment/nirvana/transcendence/realization/etc. It's an interesting adventure but it can be summed-up in one quote: "Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people" - Karl Marx
PowderClock Are you trolling, or are you seriously asking? Because if you are seriously asking, then i would suggest you take a minute to educate yourself (maybe, i don't know, open up the Bible and read it?). If you are REALLY serious, and actually asking, go ahead and PM me and i will take the time to explain, otherwise, well done old chap on the troll ;)
i guess you dont like me then....i learn from anything and everything
i read the bible and other religious works other gospels and i apply everything from science to knowledge on magick to search for the truth because all things are available when i read.
This is so much fun! I'm learning this with my sister 😆
Thanks God, it is so blessed and good! :) I appreciate grafical effects, too.
They look like Mormon missionaries. They should do The Book of Mormon in a minute too. If the Mormons could put on a little show like this, they'd get more of an audience.

God: All right, you two, don't do the one thing. Other than that, have fun.

Jesus: I have never done the things.
Other people: We're going to put you on trial for doing the things.

mckenzie dickerson
So much easier than reading that thick fucking book which doesn't make sense anyway.
Peet well, I mean, it was compiled so long ago, it wouldn't be legit if it wasn't hard to read
As a Christian, this is pretty much accurate.
I only don’t like it cause your kind of making fun of the Bible stories and Jesus doesn’t cuss
Well said! i applaud you for your Wonderful response! i completely agree
i went to a catholic school from prek to 8th and you just summed up all of my religion classes in one minute
What ever happened to these guys?
