I could watch Wasim, Waqar and Donald bowl all day. Donald certainly had the most technically flawless fast bowling action to ever be filmed which is what made him so enjoyable to watch. Waqar has the long accelerating, building to crescendo with him hitting the crease letting rip those sidewinder missiles at the toes, I mean him up until his back injury, and Donald were bowling consistently faster than anyone else at that time, and despite sending down yorkers at 150k they also swung in extremely late, and often deviated almost a foot.
89 to 94 he was lethal due to imran khan guiding these youngsters to perform at highest level. Once imran khan retired wasim and waqar became corrupt who with other players lost so many matches due to match fixing and in fighting as I believed the team we had in the 90s should have won the 1996 and the 99 word cup. But due to match fixing and creating camps they destroyed pakistan cricket

Playing in australia was heaven for fast bowlers but sadly their are not much fast bowlers left in international cricket now … That culture of fast bowling is missing in international cricket ..which is not good for cricket …currently their is hardly any bowler who clicks 150 kph regularly…that fierce fast bowling culture is gone …which west Indians,australians has or pakistani’s has …sometimes i hear bizzare things from commentators that he is swing bowlers so he has not to be fast …these wasims , waqars they use to swing at speed of 140 atleast..its very much of batsman game …now ..i haven’t seen malcom marshal , denis lille ,richard hadlee ,kapil dev or imran khan but seen brett lee , shoiab Akhtar,alan donald , trent boult , shane bond , waqar , anderson , starc but now fast bowling is not really fast …its like bowling is just to make batsman play …that fierce fast bowling that challlenging fast bowling for batsmans is gone more of in odi and t20s..i think icc need to bring that fast bowling culture back and encourage it …fast bowling is an art …it need to be preserved ..cricket doesn’t mean just batting …every new rule icc brings makes cricket more of batsmans game …
One most important thing is the use of Kookaboora ball every where. This ball have very little seam on it which settles down after only a few overs. So no help for the bowlers to swing the ball. Now england and india have opted for the Dukes and SG respectively which are way better than Kookaboora. They have better seam, which lasts long and helps to swing the ball even with the older ball.

Ask the players if they'd want that, not a single one would want that to happen some computer deciding what would have happened. In the 90s Pakistan used to get plenty of dodgy lbws go their way believe me. And Pakistan batsmen never got out lbw at home.

89-94 waqar was lethal. In 94 he had a bad elbow injury that cut his pace by 15-20 klms
15-20km is a lot. I think he must have lost 5-10km maximum

Young Waqar was lethal. A complete monster. Only ever saw two players play him convincingly at his peak, Martin crow and Gary kirsten.
