    Endocannabinoid. It’s a mouthful of a word and possibly an unfamiliar one to many watching this, yet it is definitely a word which will be on all of our radars very soon. It’s not surprising that this word is relatively new to the wellness community, as the “endocannabinoid system” as it is more commonly referred to, is a scientific breakthrough that was only discovered in the 1990s and has had a profound impact on the way we regard properties of CBD or Cannabidiol, and understand cannabinoids. Describing the endocannabinoid system in a nutshell is as tricky as saying it, but in essence it is broken down as follows…
    Cannabinoid = either cannabis-derived compounds or things that act like them (note: there isn’t a consensus on this definition, yet)
    Endocannabinoid = endogenous cannabinoids (the cannabinoids that your body makes naturally)
    The endocannabinoid system = includes endocannabinoids, the enzymes that help make them and break them down, and the receptors that (endo)cannabinoids bind to
    In this video I will give you 5 simple tips to incorporate into your lifestyle to help you activate your Endocannabinoid System. The result of which should astound you and yield amazing health benefits, both physical and mental. The more that we continue to shed light on this fascinating information, the more we can help better ourselves mentally and physically and remove the stigma that is unfairly associated with it.

    It's amazing how these people get into it. It's driving them to learn, and some, like this lady, go a little hyper. Good on her, I got more into fishing, learning all about boats, fish, fishing, rods and reels, the whole sha- bang. I've had a life time of great scenery and experiences. Also my job, welding, smoking a j and off to the shed for hours, learning the techniques. Learning to create good engineering solutions. And just sometimes I love my lawnmower. I have pushed enough mowers around my lawn to know that I appreciate this masterpiece. Hell, I'll have a j, grab a whiskey and fire that shit up for some drinking and driving fun, come back in to fire up the char grill. Now that's a great afternoons fuck around.

    The biggest blockage I'm facing is the COST of CBD.
    I just paid nearly $40 for a small 30ml bottle of 300mg concentration tincture.
    That's waaaaay To much for the common struggling single parent who can barely make min wage! When a soda cost only fifty cents a can, this is way out of balance and is obvious proffiterring and usery.

      A lot of CBD is useless and 'fake'. The real deal (like black tar) originates in Morroco (I'm sure other countries will be in the business). It costs minimum $1000 per oz. It saves lives and is the 'cream of the cream' - is hard won by the producer.
      The left overs after production may be used for cbd and related products.

      @@chriscooke8613 My wife was informed that her cancer was Terminal - 12 months given.The first point of call was cannabis oil - word of mouth for a supplier who got his supply from North Africa - it is very hush hush i'm afraid. £25 per gram (half gram per day) mix with melted coconut oil and dip bread. Period of a couple of months.
      Threw the kitchen sink at her. After 4 years she is thriving. Recovery was within 12 months. Lots of other 'life savers' were added to her diet so we will never know what caused the massive turnaround.

Not that I doubt it’s magic however for myself the cost has become prohibitive. I am also annoyed to find that the dosage amount of cbd in trials is way more than is being sold or recommend by many companies.

    Good upload, the holistic approach to taking CBD is one which is often overlooked, it should be taken in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle and healthy/balanced diet.
    I can see that the CBD powder you have is most likely not pure CBD isolate which is good since there are other substances in cannabis/hemp (same thing, different etymology from the same base word) which work in conjunction with the CBD to provide the so-called ''entourage effect'' i.e. to maximise the benefit of the CBD or other cannabinoids for that matter, those being terpenes and flavonoids which are also found in other places in nature and which in themselves are beneficial.
    So I would like to address point 2 where you mention Omega 3 supplements: the same principle applies, it's better to take them as close to their natural state as possible rather than as an isolated compound.
    For example vitamin C in it's purest form is just a molecule composed of hydrogen and oxygen in a specific configuration, ascorbic acid. But if I just ask you or anyone which they think is better, to take pure ascorbic acid as a supplement, or eat grapefruits or oranges or other citrus fruit, you will instinctively know that the fruit is healthier than the isolated supplement.
    So we can apply the same principle to omega 3s. These are prevalent in oily fish. Salmon being the most commonly known but also sardines, mackerel or herring. The latter 3 are perhaps underrated as superfoods in the English speaking world but in other European countries they are consumed a great deal more and it can be said are even part of their culture to some extent e.g. herring in the Netherlands. They do have the advantage over salmon of never being farmed, and cheap and plentiful at least in Europe. It has sometimes been said that salmon is the most toxic food on earth, salmon are prone to parasites and farmed salmon are administered large quantities of antibiotics. I normally eat herring and mackerel every week. Mackerel has about double the amount of vit D as salmon.
    Another superfood rich in omega 3 and vit D is unfortunately hard to get hold of in some countries, cod liver. Not cod liver oil as a supplement but actual cod liver, canned. It's an acquired taste but has been called the ''foie gras of the sea''' due to it's texture, delicious spread on wholemeal toast with a few drops of lemon juice on top. I lived in the Netherlands and there this product is available in supermarkets, where I am now (UK) that's not the case and I have to order it online. It's generally produced (caught, processed and canned) in Iceland. All of these fishy foods I mention are extremely popular in Scandinavia and Northern German/Netherlands and have been consumed for centuries, true Viking foods.

      Apparently that's only whilst the brain is developing i.e. in teens. The problem is that recreational cannabis strains nowadays have 4 times as much THC as they did in the 90s when I used to smoke, and less CBD in proportion. A good way to counter this is to still smoke your high THC weed but balance the effect with CBD oil or gummies, or vape. Should point out it doesn't cancel out the high but it adds to it. Try it you may like it. No harm in trying.

    Hempseed oil is great for balanced omegas 💚

    • @simonh6371
      @simonh6371 11 місяців тому

      That's true. However hempseed oil has a limited shelf life and goes rancid after a couple of months and there are better carrier oils for CBD oil (which is just hemp paste mixed with a carrier oil) which enable better bio-availability (absorbtion) of cannabinoids etc, for example MCT oil which is simply refined coconut oil
      The best way to get omega 3 is not from supplements but from oily fish, like mackerel, herring, sardines and salmon . Mackerel has about double the quantity of omega 3 and vit D that salmon does, furthermore mackerel, herring and sardines are never farmed so technically ''organic'' whereas as most people know farmed salmon is laced with antibiotics. Cod liver is another one (not cod liver oil) but very hard to find outside Scandinavia and the Netherlands.
      Just as with CBD the entourage effect principle applies with other beneficial substances i.e. they work better in the body in conjunction with other substances found in their natural source. The same way as eating oranges is a healthier way to get vit C than taking ascorbic acid in it's isolated form.

    • @kellymcque
      @kellymcque 11 місяців тому

      @@simonh6371 fortunately I've never experienced rancid hempseed oil - I read that its a better source of omegas as the body is able to absorb them as needed and it's a better ratio of omega 3 and 6 for our bodies than fish oil. I read somewhere that it also has all the nutritional requirements we need to survive 🙂 I take it daily as health supplement and its definitely helped to keep the eczema away.

    Sorry, but I think cbd from hemp is not the best. You really need it from cannabis(marijuana) which is different from industrial hemp plant.

      John R John: You can google it darling. CBD from cannabis has more cannabinoids and terpenes than hemp. And the little THC in it is important. But hey yeah, hemp is a lot easier to sell - but it is an industrial plant and not particularly cultivated for healing.

      Industrial hemp IS cannabis, industrial hemp are simply strains of cannabis that contain less than 0.3% of THC. However i do agree that regular strains of cannabis are better and ideally, both thc and cbd should be used together.

      1964 THC was identified ... we found CBD in 1949 and did nothing with the info ( prohibition) ... The US Government has paid Israel ( Mechoulam) 150k a year to research cannabis since 1964 . last years they asked for a few million ! the US Gov declined

      I'm talking about the Endo system it was discovered in 92 by mechoulam who also patented marinol. Thc mimics Anandamide. 2ag is in breast milk. The true godfather of cannabis research is roger adams. Pharmas main goal remove the Entourage effect by isolating then patenting every cannabinoid and terpene. There's no money in healthy people. We take advice about our health from someone who directly profits from sickness.

      @@kennethanger6760 Devane identified ECS is the early 90's ... Marinol was developed in the mid 80's ( 1985) .. still , irregardless of these petty details ECS is the most fascinating discovery in a long time and it is showing how people just accept anything the news says and does not challenge a bit of it .
      ECS can be researched without Cannabinoids beingmentioned and uptight "trust it" type people can then feel comfortable knowing this illegal knowledge ..
