Windows key + E to open explorer is one I use daily. Also Windows key + 1 to open the first item in the task bar, Win + 2 for second item and so on are equally handy.

Pro-Tip: Strg+Shift+(1 to 6): switches items view from Extra Large Icons, Large Icons, List View, ... Details View.
