Here are some shortcuts that I use all the time in Chrome and on UA-cam (and I think most can be down on the Mac): 1. Ctrl + Shift + O opens the Bookmark Manager in Chrome 2. Ctrl + Shift + B toggles displaying and hiding the Bookmarks bar in Chrome 3. Ctrl + H opens the History of web pages you have visited in Chrome 4. Shift + , slows down UA-cam videos in increments of 25% up to a quarter of the original speed 5. Shift + . speeds up UA-cam videos in increments of 25% up to double the original speed 6. Left Arrow Key skips back 5 seconds when you are watching a video on UA-cam 7. Right Arrow Key skips forward 5 seconds when you are watching a video on UA-cam 8. Up Arrow Key raises the volume of a UA-cam video 9. Down Arrow Key decreases the volume of a UA-cam video

the good thing is that you go directly to the point starting directly, not like the majority until you get so bored to watch something direct explanation is a good way good job
Another really useful shortcut is Win + Shift + S, which allows you to take a screenshot of specific areas you want (I'm not sure which version of Windows introduced this feature)
Look Kevin! You are giving professional and very beneficial tips. This is the second or the third video I watched for you You got a new follower by the way!!
Great tips! I learned several new ones, the basic ones I already use, as I'm a typist... and as you mentioned, keyboard commands are a time saver. :) I really liked the 'virtual desktop' command, never knew that was a Win10 feature.
Great tips, I definitely will use these shortcuts at work. The way it was explained , it was very comprehensive for me. I use copy and paste a lot at my work , however I was using the right click on the mouse. Thanks very much for this.
Kevin, you are the man! This is the best video out there showing all the important shortcuts and ALSO how to reverse them. I came here because of those moronic videos of Bright side where they show you how to get a different desktop but not how to navigate through the additional desktops you create. Thanks for doing this !
Alt + Tab is a very common shortcut, but Ctrl + Alt + Tab is even better, because you freeze all open apps, and you dont have use a mouse at all. In that case you can close apps, one by one with delete key. I really like your channel. Just a keep great work. Greetings from Serbia 👍👋
This is cool. I did not know about this bullet moving possibility. That saves my life, doing my newsletters, that contain events that need to be sorted by dates. So genius. Thank you.
I discovered by experimentation a way to highlight a column of information in a Microsoft Word doc. Might work elsewhere but haven't yet tried that. DOES involve the mouse. Click where you want to start the highlight then press Alt while dragging down and even right or left depending on what you need highlighted. Avoids text being highlighted all the way to the left as you drag down when you don't need that. Perhaps you're looking to delete a particular column of text. Great way to accomplish that. Highlight then delete. Cheers!
Thanks. I am a big fan of keyboard shortcuts. I will share this with our team. The most useful discovery was virtual desktops. I can separate my work and personal activities using this feature on my laptop.
Kevin I didn’t think it was possible for me to learn anything that involves the use of tech but then I stumbled on one of your videos and now not only did I learn but am now hooked. I need you to do videos on all the technology in my life I want to learn but can’t grasp. Can you teach my cricut, how to use my dlsl camera and embroidery machine too? I’ve had them for years and just can’t get it.
It does absolutely nothing when I press it. Win10 v 20h2(latest). No "Game Bar" whatsoever. Before you ask, I am pressing "Windows" and "G" simultaneously. Windows key works fine for all other shortcuts.
CTRL scroll wheel for zoom in and out. Try Windows shift M for toggle of windows minimise. Window Home to minimise all except priority window you are focused in to expedite from slow.
Kevin: I had this suggestion for a long time... Let's say you have 7 virtual desktops open. Instead of doing WINDOWS KEY-CTRL-LEFT ARROW or WINDOWS KEY-CTRL-RIGHT ARROW how about WINDOWS KEY-CTRL-1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 or 7 to jump to your desired virtual desktop that you have open? In addition we would do WINDOWS KEY-CTRL-F (FOR THE 1ST VIRTUAL WINDOW) and do WINDOWS KEY-CTRL-L (FOR THE LAST VIRTUAL WINDOWS). All this to jump around quicker.
Just watched your video on Windows 10 Shortcut Keys and Liked it. Is there a shortcut key for “go to search bar” within an app? ie. I’m in Amazon or some other app and I want to search for something else within the app is there a keystroke to get backup to the search bar?
To get windows: Open you internet browser and type bestkey355 Hi there. Very helpful video! However, I have a question. When I boot up my laptop, my laptop isn't able to read my brand new SSD. I already tried different solutions like downloading the F6 drivers into USB drive, initialize the brand new SSD on different computer. However, none of them work. What can I do please?
I AM NOT SMART I DOWNLOADED WIN 10 MYSELF I PROBABLY DIDNT DO IT PERFECT BUT YOUR COMMENTS AND INSTRUCTIONS ARE FANTASTIC. I STILL CANT GET THE GAME BAR TO TAKE A PHOTO BUT I WILL STILL KEEP TRYING. YOUR THE BEST KEVIN, VR griff
Thanks for the shortcut Keys. Is there a shortcut key to unlock the keypad or the screen ? Sometimes, both my screen and keypad get locked-up. Now, I have to reboot. The keypad doesn't have any sensor to tap on.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I was searching shortcut keys to make researching google and doing other things faster! I hope you have a great day or night
Regarding “zooming”, I just hold down the CNTRL key then scroll up or down with the mouse wheel. I think pushing the wheel away from you zooms in (larger) and toward you zooms out (smaller). This seems to work on ANY screen including the desktop.
After the new update, in Windows 11 the creation of a shortcut to my desktop ( icon ) is no longer to be found when I open the three dots? How do I create a shortcut icon on my laptop?
