Maybe in his head, his draft stock could not be made better with a good pro day. It’s like we know the highest he could go is 2. Then again he could actually hurt his stock if he had a bad day. Not much to gain and much more to lose
@9:04 that’s like a 60 yarder on the move
@@DankBirdGang52I’ve watched him play for two years. He underthrows receivers quite often and much of his mechanics are off because he throws off his backfoot. Though he may be a top-5 pick, he's more of a project than what's being discussed.
@@Domo4King The footwork can be worked on. He gets that cleaned up, sky's the limit
You forgot he overthrown a guy with the ball 50 feet over him on a 20 yard out
I really want the Pats to pick him at 3.
I do not think this should reflect strongly on anyone's opinion. He's out there without pads, without pressure, with a perfect soft tossed snap every time, and these WRs are slowing down so they don't outrun his throw and make him look bad.
It's all a coin flip. Kid looks athletic but that has never been the only thing that mattered in any pro league.
Game film is all you need to watch. He has a lot of josh Allen and Derek Carr to his games. He will make wow throws and then an odd miss. However arm talent absolutely matters.
Future Minnesota Viking! Mayennesota!
"not about the result, it's about the process."
It's about results.
He will be a Patriots watch ❤😊
What are the lottery numbers?
Jj Maccarthy has shown a better combine and pro day maye has dropped on my draft board to 23 rd overall
Maybe didn’t throw in the combine
Michigan fanboy confirmed
Maybe I’m missing it, but I feel like he’s going to be a really-really solid future backup.
No, you're spot on
That’s Daniel’s if anything
Yep, you are missing it.
🎯
People said that about Stroud last year. Being wrong is a habit for a lot of people.
Wouldnt be surprised if Maye ends up being better than Williams
He won't.
No one in this class will get close good year for 1.01
MINNESOTA THIS IS OUR GUY
no it ain’t 🤣🤣
Welcome to the Pats, Brady jr
Looking great
Drake Maye! Woot woot 😂😂😂
Next Sam Howell 😂😂
Howell’s a good player. He had no O Line in WAS
Looks average
Sam is a good player
Similarities:
1) Went to UNC
2)
@@timmyfiller1913 Seriously he’s nothing like Howell. Such low IQ comps to just call a prospect the same player because they had the same logo on their jersey.
These camera angles are horrible....wtf
I’m watching this as a Patriots fan for research purposes
Kids a stud, don’t overthink it
His slow release is slow but still a lot of talent
His release is not quick at all..Justin Fields throws the same way
I don’t care what anybody says. I see late first early second round QB.
This kid is raw as hell. His delivery is long. His feet are sloppy. He under throws all the time. Not consistent.
The reason you draft the kid of because of size. A little speed. And long distance arm strength. He doesn’t have elite velo like the best of best.
This kid needs the Jordan love plan. You put this kid on the patriots with no elite weapons anf starting year 1. He will 100 percent bust. He needs the Vikings and sit behind darnold and throwing to JJ and hock
You’d be just plain wrong . He isn’t getting out of the top 3 lmao
@@BratatoChip just because he isn’t doesn’t mean he should. Zach Wilson and Trey lance were both top 3 picks and neither one had any business being there. And they arguably have more raw talent
The way he sailed that one guy with no defenders around him is kinda crazy tbh
Maybe I’m wrong. But I’m extremely concerned about his throwing motion and vision on short/intermediate throws. It’s beyond sloppy. Hope he can clean that up ASAP
Reminds me of the Great Mitch Trubisky. A solid Backup QB drafted in the 1st round.
Man stop it he wasn’t no 6’5 with touch. He didn’t even look like a qb on pro day
Casual
He also now has 2 deep threat receiver's
It would be such a great situation for him to go to Minnesota
Dude with the blue headband didn't drop a thing 🥶
When Caleb Williams faced top 25 defenses, he had 7 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.
That's all I need to know
He also had a mediocre offensive line and a bottom defense that led him to have to air it out to stay in the game
Context matters.. dude still had 123 total tds to 19 turnovers hating isn’t cool at all dude
How was Maye against a top 25 defense? Serious question looking at game logs I don't see a top 25 defense Sorry I just checked and Duke was the only top 25 defense Maye faced NC state was 26 and Clemson was 32
Maybe his pink nails and phone will help.
@@NAT-turners-RevengeWhat offensive line and receivers did Maye have
Reminds me of young Big Ben
exactly, that's my comp of this kid. He's going to do some odd things that the big boys can do and others can't He has a cannon. Get him an AJ Brown type receiver and it's all over. Check out Big Bens college stuff and Drake is actually more polished.
The next Zach Wilson
How? Zach was a one year wonder and climbed up the draft boards super late. Maye was penciled in as a top 3 pick before last season even started. Tf are you smoking?
silliest comp, no clue why everyone is running w/this clown comparison, they aren't remotely close
3:56 they doing ASMR analysis now 😂
Future Viking
I think he will be a good qb
Basically this shows Maye is a project. If he starts his first year it won't be rainbows and sunshine. He has the intangibles though, so on paper he should be a top 10-15 QB in the league with time to develop into a top 6-8 QB.
No one forced him to declare.
As a Vikings fan, I have been on the McCarthy bandwagon. But I'm sure that KOC knows best on what he is looking at. If he feels that he can work with Maye better then I am with him on his decision.
