If y'all really want to know who's the BEST QB coming out of this 2023-2024 Draft. It's either Jayden Daniels or Michael Penix Jr., hands down. Doesn't matter which order you Draft either one of these Player's. My main issue with BOTH of these Player's, their body frame is too small to Play in the NFL. Other than that, they are the REAL DEAL, hands down. Bo Nix is very good as well. I know he's older than these Player's, BUT, his work speaks for itself! If I'm a G.M. or Owner and I want to keep my job and Fans in the Seats, those are the three QB's I'm looking at! But, that's just me. If any of you have seen Scarface, when Tony Montana told his buddy, "The Eye's Chico, Never Lie". That's what I'm saying: "The Eye's Chico, Never Lie".
He just looks relaxed out there. He has that great combo of having fun before the snap and then quick transition to pure focus. JJ will be in great shape if continues to take it in stride as he has been.
I want to see what all the goofs who said he was a late round prospect have to say now. McCarthy probably needs to sit for a year and learn, but he has all the potential to be a very good pro. People seem to forget that at one point he was rated a 5-star QB before he committed to Michigan, then the "experts" knocked his rating down a star like they conveniently seem to do whenever Michigan signs a top player.
CJ Stroud had more attempts in a season than JJ did in his career. Ohio changed their offense because they found a guy who could make those plays, Michigan went the other direction. Michigan found JJ and built an offense that asked him to do as little as possible, why?

Just to make sure you're following me, I'm not talking about how the kids ultimately end up in 4 years. Yeah no lol i have JJ at the top 3 but he not getting drafted ahead of Maye, Maye will have a smoother transition to the nfl JJ needs to sit a year wich most temas cant afford
He lacked touch and feel on a lot of his throws in games. Definitely can sling it. Reminds me of young Matt Stafford, minus the touch, in that they both forced way too many throws because they have cannons. He easily could’ve had 3x the amount of INT in college, because he forces into tight windows that he shouldn’t. Could have used another year, but his stock was probably at its zenith That said, with more in game reps, he could be a force. Sleeper, especially if he goes later in the first to a team with an o- line and stable staff.
Buckeyes in full force in the comment section. What you know about JJ is less than what you do know. Michigan's play style held him back from truly developing. This kid was a highly recruited QB. Had he been in an air raid offense and had a true #1 WR, the kid probably could have won the Heisman. @@moalston4203 Yes I know. He is a 1st round caliber QB.
Great arm that could be a franchise guy
The guy can’t throw an out route
Vikings this is your qb. Resign Kirko for 3 years and let JJ sit and learn behind him and he will be great. It's not a coincidence that Pat, Herbert, A-Rod, Jordan love all sat their first year IT WORKS.
Herbert didn’t sit his first year
@@prod.drewuplife3575 he did just not the whole year
@@zyryaby1358 he sat out for literally one game and won roty 😂
@@prod.drewuplife3575 i tought he sat for 6 games lol my bad
Go back and look up this kids schedule in high school and how he worked at it even at a young age . 430 am till 8-9 pm 6 days a week. All football and school
J.J. out here throwing them, "Oh hell naw's."
This man is a walking glaze magnet😂😂😂😂
If he could sit a year and work on his timing, he could be legit
He just looks relaxed out there. He has that great combo of having fun before the snap and then quick transition to pure focus. JJ will be in great shape if continues to take it in stride as he has been.
He looked pretty mid. He will make a great career back up. Deep ball is super weak.
If he wasnt on michigan these throws would have him undrafted
Announcers- "Hes fighting for that QB3 spot and maybe even QB2"
McCarthy any times he throws- "Watch me miss this WR by 10 yards"
things didnt happen
dude is a beast
@@stevep-he8ct things that didn't happen. You watching the combine 😂
I'd pick JJ McCarthy #1. He's the real deal.
If Denver drafts this guy we are SCREWED!!!!
You are kinda screwed no matter what they do
DJ loves to call every throw "thats perfect"
If he was such a good qb how come he only threw the ball 15 times per game?
Thank you Wolverines 🏆〽️🍾🤙🏼👑📽️jj Macarthy is going to be awesome on the nfl
I hope he does better at his pro day with players he has chemistry with. Today was underwhelming for a potential top 10 pick.
@@Hengel_AndrewsHarbaugh has ALWAYS been a run first coach both in the NFL and in college (except for Stanford, but Andrew Luck was a generational talent). JJ won a chip and Stroud never beat Michigan, so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make there. Again, I'm not saying that McCarthy should be the top pick, just that he's not a mid-round guy either. He will be a good pro.
Comparing head to head matchups is nasty work lol, that’s not the point he was making. Additionally just because he was a 5 star doesn’t mean he has great potential.
@@elitemidrangeStop. You're not even making sense. Do you know how many kids they hand out 5 star ratings to every season? The answer is not many, and there is a reason for that. So are you telling me they hand out 3 stars to prospects who they think have more potential than 5-star prospects? Just to make sure you're following me, I'm not talking about how the kids ultimately end up in 4 years. I'm asking you during the recruiting process are you telling me that they give out more 3 star ratings because they feel those prospects have more potential than 5-star prospects?
Again, just stop. You sound ridiculous.
He looked very below average throwing on air at the combine
Listen he will be forever loved for bringing Michigan a much needed natty but he’s nothing more than a backup in the league. Its insane teams are thinking of spending a 1st rd pick on this guy
His ideal landing spot would be to the Jets at #10. He's a bit raw and needs some time to develop. You put him under Rodgers' tutelage for a season, maybe two, and I think JJ could become a very good NFL QB. I don't know if he's going to be great, but he could be a Ryan Tannehill type QB.
JJ McCarthy is going to be the three quarterback off the board 2024 draft ahead of Drake you can book it
Yeah no lol i have JJ at the top 3 but he not getting drafted ahead of Maye, Maye will have a smoother transition to the nfl JJ needs to sit a year wich most temas cant afford
Best to leave your opinions at the door until he gets a couple seasons under his belt in the NFL and is utilized more.
Which QB was ranked #1 in the country in 3rd down conversions passing with 6+ yards to go?
There was a lot of bad throws there i don't see a 1st round qb at all
Wish they Could Highlight The WR in these Drills Also. Hard to see names. WR 14 impressive.
Another Tom Brady love, Michigan
