I think it was 1968 I heard a track on my transistor radio which I didn't catch the title of, I went to the 'Way In' at the top of Harrods, where you could listen to records before buying. I asked the guy in charge, ' I'm looking for something about a grapevine, ' he told me that's Marvin Gaye, ' I heard it through the grapevine ',that was the beginning of my love for that heavenly, divine voice. I bought everything I could find of Marvin's, but then there was a lull, and a friend who knew I loved Marvin returned from New York, in 1970 with 'What's going on ', it is to me just the most incredible, prophetic, beautiful album ever. I'm truly grateful to Snoop for his homage.
Marvin, Marvin, Marvin, Marvin! An Angel who came down to earth for just a short time. HE STILL LIVES! Snoop! WOW! Creative, Talented, and Blessed like Marvin ❤
