Retired Ambulance, 7.3 Powerstroke Quarter Mile, Lights On

  • Because everyone wants to know how fast a tired ambulance with a diesel can run the quarter. This thing is slow but it's got low compression on all cylinders, a possible bad injector, and our dyno is at 6500 ft. above sea level (this is Wyoming after all) where you have to be really fast in order to be fast.

    Why is your Dyno on top of a mountain?
    Also thats probably the most iconic cube-bulance. Good ol XL pickup based cubes.

    I have a 2000 ambulance with a 7.3 poweratroke turbo and it is slow at accelerating. It weighs close to 11,000 pounds though so if you put that kind of a load on all the other vehicles you Dino wonder what they would do it in.
