Great video! I still love my original Sony ZV-1...I've never had any problems with it. The ZV-1 ii is probably even better but I'll wait another year before I decide to get that. The ZV-1 ii on Black Friday is still pricy even though they say it's on sale.
I"ve been using this camera for about 2 years now and for me, it works perfectly. I do vlog content, mainly centered around golf, and it's pretty much a point and shoot. I was able to fit an adapter and aftermarket wide angle lens on it. I do have to ask, though and this is open to anyone who can answer, for vlogging, I just wanted to know if there are any particular settings you all use.
I can see this being a take to a show camera for photos and video, definitely better than wat a phone can do, personally I hate that everything is now vlogging centered, I want a Sony a6400 that's has modern staples like USB c
It's fine, but it's not much of an upgrade if you have a flagship like the iPhone 15 Pro or 16 Pro and in many ways a downgrade. If you want a more noticeable step up in quality you really want APS-C at a minimum in my opinion and these days Full Frame can be had at incredible prices too, like a Sony A7C.
Buy a secondhand ZVE10, better AF, better video, better stills not really a contest and it wouldn't be much more expensive. If a wide view is really that important to you get an action cam. It will be more rugged and most of the newer one's have 10-bit video. The Pocket 3 is also a good option, again if budget is a concern the Pocket 1or 2 would still have better IQ and certainly stabilisation than the ZV1F. Honestly I really don't see the value in the Sony ZV1F, it's actually a little pricey when you consider the specs and features.
I own this camera, obviously multiple cameras, this is a great camera for what it is. I take it with me when I want a camera I can be a bit rough with, without worrying and also knowing that I will get some decent footage. I will say, the photos are decent, like an iPhone 12, but the video quality is pretty good for what it is.
Out of the ZV-1 line the only one I recommend is the original. The biggest flaw was the mounting point blocking the battery door. The fact that they didn't leave a notch on the battery door for a dummy battery is the second. Lastly they used micro usb instead of C. I could nitpick some other issues, but if Sony would just re-release the camera with those changes at the same price point, maybe even a little higher, I'd be ecstatic. Every other single release in the line including the mark two, drastically removes other features that make the original camera, the best all around camera for content creators. In my opinion. The next step is to go to interchangeable lens cameras but then you lose the portability. Even the ZV-E 10, should have been the original ZV-1, removing the lens for the E-mount. For those that wanted interchangeable lenses anyway, thats it. For most content creators and even run and gun Indy film makers, the original point and shoot body with the 24-70 lens fits 97% of what you shoot. It's sad that the freak out point for most people was that 24mm wasn't wide enough for walk and talk videos. The simple fixes for that was to, 1. use a selfie stick so you could hold it out a bit further, 2. Put a diopter on the lens to widen out the angle. More importantly for walk and talks, we now have the Pocket 3 from DJI which is hands down the best camera I've ever seen for that type of content. Losing that extra telephoto on every iteration after the original ZV-1 hurts every other type of creator. Then there's the other features that they removed like super slowmo and IBIS. Granted the IBIS wasn't the best but it's still leaps and bounds over digital stabilization. Again there were some other minor flaws with the ZV-1, if you want to pick nits but there's a rather simple work around for every flaw. The "fixes" they put in every other version of the camera drastically reduce the versatility of the original camera. With the original ZV-1, they came so close to creating the perfect, one camera to rule them all, for content creators.
I just saw your video about the sony zv e10 and actually I'm already planning to buy it. I use this camera only for personal use, not professional. And I wanna ask guys. I want to get red eye effect in every of my picture, does sony zv e10 have "red eye effect reduction"? And what external flash should I buy? because the sony zv e10 doesn't have a internal flash. And how to setting the external flash? Maybe of you guys know about how to get red eyes effect please help me in comments
Anyone considering this camera knows it’ll be a content creating/vlogging 99% of the time with the other 1% being using it to take the thumbnail for your video. I own it in white and it’s now become my content workhorse. Definitely worth getting if you’d like an upgrade from a phone specially if it’s on sale.
Annoys me how brands bow down to UA-camrs when it comes to designs and specs UA-camrs should learn it isn't all about them, they're a tiny tiny minority of users and need to get a grip of their egos
@ the Zv-1f has a larger sensor than the iPhone so it produces a better image quality. However if you have good lighting and good mic with your iPhone it shouldn’t matter.

Soon as you said “no raw” I made up my mind. Raw is a must have. Thanks for saving me some money.
You would have seen that in the specs 😅
@ true. Probably didn’t save me money but definitely saved me a little time.
lol

Can't wait to pick one this black friday. Best for vlogs
I've got the forerunner of this camera. Cybershot. I use it to shoot photos and video for weddings.

Throwing a 40.5mm UV filter and twisty lens protector makes this the most fun camera ever

Not a camera to use a program of Catylist Browser, stationary on a tripod I love it

Can I use this for filming art videos?

i hope Santa gives me this camera for Christmas🎁
I am a new content creator and it’s works perfectly for me. I’ve also found a lens to attach to it!
Uhhh… who’s gonna tell them?
Hey, just an FYI for you, this is a fixed lens, you cannot attach any lens to it.
@@youcreateyourownstory Either way I have a lens attached!
@@Mahogani.Sharnae I actually have a lens attachement for it too.. to make it wider from Ulanzi it turns it from a 20mm to a 18 mm.
I got mine for 200 dollars today 😭🖤

As a small creator, I'm shopping around for the best camera that would fit my content creation type

If you are a beginner, your budget is tight, and you can not buy an I Phone, go for it.
No RAW ?
I really don’t get these type of cameras at this point when smartphones are super capable now.
It is if you're a Sony fanboy 😅
Nice 😂

I tested this camera at night, awful 😞
Sure your settings are right? This is a really good camera at night with the f2.0
Nope.
This camera is good for studio work, but not for vlogging. Photos are ok. Hope this helps 🫶🏽
Do you think works well for talking head videos? I am currently using my laptop to record videos. Thanks!
Yes, better lighting and image quality. I use it as webcam daily for my work meetings.
@@Bro.fernandowho I have i phone 12 for youtube videos of course home sitting and talking videos
is this huge buff or not much ?
