Very appealing home! For those of us who are older, a main floor bedroom is really important.
Absolutely!
Another tiny home with the bedroom on the bottom floor. I can’t stand the ones with the ladder or narrow steps and a bedroom loft you have to crawl in. Nope!
right!
Totally agree!
Remember he is a little older. So a bedroom on the bottom floor may be easier to reach.
That has always been the main turn off for me. I am long past the bunk bed stage. Having to climb a ladder to get to the bed gives prison vibes.
I’d prefer a one level home with no loft also. This is a beautiful home.
He’s done a great job - both with the decor and the functionality. He’s a very good designer - he should be on staff with one of the tiny house builders.
What a wonderful home. No loft and a big bedroom with a nice size closet. Awesome
Brian, thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.
This is one beautiful home !
Village Farm is a beautiful community, it has concrete, grass, trees, and two pools, just like a big/regular community
development.
He got a good deal for this beautiful home. The kitchen doesn't have a lot of counter space, but it is durable and gorgeous. Whoever designed this gem did a fabulous job inside and outside. I really love this build.
I like the fact he added the deconpose granite in the yard, he has a beautiful yard. It really looks like a yard you would find in a big development.
And removing the wall in the kitchen was a good idea, it's more open.
The home looks bigger than what it is. The front and back porches are a nice size.
I have seen this video before. The bunny joke was corny, but funny 😀
This man is Really chilling in his later years, enjoying life, that's the way to do it after working many years. He gets to relax in this beautiful home and community, with the things he enjoys around him.
I agree with all of your comments. I think, though, that his counter space isn’t too bad - Brian has a lot of stuff on his counters. This seems to me to be a great home & community.
Great home he has enough space for 2 without being too cramped. Fire pit with tile table top was clever. Thank you
Another great looking tiny for a fair price. It seems quite spacious and I appreciate how the home owner opened up the kitchen area for a better visual flow. All in all, pretty darn cool. 😊❤️
He seems very thoughtful and organized. Love that. The home is beautiful.
I love these tiny homes but never would I ever want to live in a community that you still have to pay rent for the lot your house sits on. Utilities aren't even included so you're still making pretty much a huge house payment. You never get away from it! That is the only downfall of these little tiny home communities. I'm sure you may feel safer there and the camaraderie is great but you're still forking out an enormous amount of money after you retire, and that, in my book, MY own book is not feasible. No doubt about that 😵💫
I absolutely positively love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love these tiny homes though 😁🪄✨❤️💖
He had a home with FOUR walk-in closets, so his expense was probably considerably more.
You’d be paying a lot more in property taxes and there are no taxes paid here. It’s essentially like an HOA payment.
@@atxgoldengirl
$750 per month would be excessive property taxes if that is what you’re implying. That’s $9000 per year……maybe if you own a mansion on a lake. Property taxes here $670 per YEAR!!!! And it’s for over an acre of land surrounded by trees and mountains NOT concrete and neighbors within arms reach. Try again to justify……
Agreed, I also never see a fence surrounding the property with these places. Sometimes you just want to sit in your garden with privacy or just want a marked out version of your outside space. He has a small partially enclosed terrace, that wouldn't be enough of me
I pay 650 a month plus my utilities, which are generally about another $50-$75 a month all in for gas water sewer electric. That 650 a month includes Internet and cable plus weekly landscape maintenance and or replacement if needed we have organic farm as an amenity at our core with a fully restored 125-year-old farmhouse, and additionally, the home is gone up in value more than double the monthly total payment including my utilities. My water bill alone in the summer months at my previous home could be $200 a month plus another 150 to 200 for electric, they each about $25 a month here.
Very lovely tiny home. I just need my own property so I can garden and have room for my pupster to roam. But it looks like a nice community for those who want to be that close. Absolutely love that coffee table fire pit!
❤Amazing home and I love that he is still pursuing his passions and enjoying life with friends and community! Absolute goals, it doesn't get better than that!!! 💯
I loved watching this! I only wish they would have allowed us to hear you play, Brian! You remind me so much of my Uncle Donnie. We spent many an hour playing music and singing together. He passed away recently and I miss him so much. I admire all the neat ways you have made this tiny home fit your needs. Very innovative and interesting. Thanks so much for opening your home and sharing! God bless!😊
Very neat, stylish for a guy I must say. I keep telling my husband of 48+ years he better not live like a hobo if I go first😂😂. I’m a designer/organizer and I’ll haunt him. Very nice unit. But the monthly fee seems high to me.
Lololo!😂 Nobody wants to be married to a hobo.
You’re so resourceful, Brian! Love your home!
Beautiful home, well done. I think I would rather enclose the back porch for those bikes safe keeping, than in the house tho.
Amazing how spacious it feels. Especially the bedroom . . not cramped at all. I would love to live in a home like this . . but I'm not a fan of close communities
Hello from Chattanooga, Tennessee. You have a beautiful home. You're truly a renasainnse man. Music, car restoration and traveling. What a beautiful life. 😊
The entire time, I kept thinking "he's so cool".
Exactly, and I thought, he seems so open-minded, he's probably a democrat.
Anyone else have this theme tune in their heads for ages after watching? ☺️ Nice property but the plot would be too busy for me. I would want to be more isolated and in the countryside 🦋.
Thanks for sharing this video about Tiny Home!😊
Wow ....80,000...great deal.
but 670-750 lot rent every month?
Average deal at best.
What a clever, industrious fellow! He’s done well!!
Your home looks so comfortable ,inviting neat and organized,I love the pop-up too. Looks like a perfect landing pad for your travels.I bet you’re a good cook,I just get that vibe.
That is one sweet place you have. ❤ it. The deck is extra nice with a fire pit and way to block the sun. I was wondering how loud are sounds from the expressway. Thank you for sharing your home.
Great taste! Love his home.
Nice, really enjoy the suspension of things and the fire pit to coffee table with shade & tripod breeze adjustment. 😊. Guitars Bicycles & Motorcycle Music🎶
Homes sure are close together in every Tiny home community I have seen. I live in a mobile home park and have a lot more room than any I have seen so far. You do have a nice home, best of luck to you.😊
You did a lovely job. Enjoy
Lovely home---he's created a wonderful life for himself. First floor normal bedroom is a huge plus!
Greetings from Turkey! Great tiny house. It’s the biggest I’ve ever seen so far. Nicely decorated. 👍🏼
$80k then $650-$750/month?! And allegedly he got a ‘good deal’? That landlord is making out like a bandit!
It’s Austin. Would be a lower HOA in a dif part of TX.
I think that it’s reasonable given all of the amenities provided & the care & upkeep of the property. Everyone’s perspective is different.
That $650 includes lawn and landscape weekly maintenance, Cable TV, Internet, valet trash and recycling pick up or propane tank refill. We have a beautiful historic organic farm at our core, with a fully restored 125 year old farm house, barn, green house etc as amenities, among others. With average home prices hovering around $500,000+ and one bedroom apts renting for $2,000 and up. My tiny home seems like an incredible bargain,....and the fact that it has increased in value by another $80,000 not only pays for ALL my overhead I have had since moving here,....it has also put another $1,000 of value in my bank account every month I have lived here should I decide to selll.
@@briancollins3177 Average home prices around $500k?! Do you even Google?! Stop it… I’m gettin’ misty.
@@smoofollowingqalroundthewo206. I can’t stand a HOA community.
What a smart young man!
Very nice! 399SF is plenty of space! Thank you for sharing!
Tripod / shade idea was a great one. Thx for sharing home. Love my tiny home switch. More interested in hearing about the Austin place next week.
What a cool guy! Awesome home!
Nice tiny house but the lot rent is astronomical. Love the guitars.
the community is lovely too..sweet bikes
The pulley system for the bike is 🤩
Brian,I love the camper your working on and your home is beautiful
Awesome tiny house, awesome tiny house community.👍 I like his outlook on retirement, setting up a 'base camp' while he travels. ✌
Brian! I love you beautiful home. It’s really nice. Love your camper van too!
Thank you for showing your beautiful home.
What a wonderful idea for the fireplace.... Super nice....
What a truly beautiful home, I love it so much
Bikes in the bedroom? My husband’s DREAM 🤣

Very awesome and beautiful tiny home.
Very nice and organized, and thanks for sharing the tips that it's a resell :)
Nice place...Nice camper! I dream of getting one day...Wish you much beauty & fun!
Very nice tiny house... Awesome....
Very nice home thank you for sharing
Love this tiny home!
I DARE a tiny home company to post their material costs and labor charges. They won't, because you'd all see just how insatiably greedy they still are.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS ❣️
Sir you have a Very nice Tiny home and I really like that opened up that
Wall separating the kitchen from the living room it looks a lot more spacious , good work 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😊😊
I have never seen a tiny home that I would have even considered living in but this one is the first. It has a great layout and all of the elements the would I could be comfortable in, inside and outside.
What a fine gentleman!
Love this house so cute.
The house looks great!
It's nice but I have to much collection of DVD and movies and vinyl records 78 and 45 my bedroom loaded down wall to wall! 😅
I love your Tiny 👍!
The porches really make it🎉.
Thanks Jenna😊,Happy Memorial day 🇺🇲!
JO JO IN VT 💞
JO JO IN VT 💞
I like this tiny house; great layout . Outside looks nice lucky you . price was good.
Great home! Obviously talented.
Looks cute,.congratulations
Brian your house is amazing ❤️❤️🫶🏽
Needs an extra tall storage shed. One of the better tiny homes.
Isn’t Brian lovely? Similarly to him, I retired 1 month before Covid shut things down. It worked out for me too.
Sweet!
My dream tiny home so nice for a senior citizen like❤
My favorite so far. The other one I love is also in Austin.
Nice home and van.😉
Pretty cool
Cool place… What a neat and tidy guy!
Dude you're so inventive😮
Thanks 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Cool pad !
Nice house, nice man.
The house if fine but the market value is nowhere near 160k, he bought it around market value, maybe even higher.
keep tuned
Does there happen to be a floor plan/blue print for this tiny home?? It’s awesome.
Very nice home have you goy your own laundry service.
Beautiful home but lot rent without utilities is to expensive for me.
May I ask where the resale homes are listed? Thanks!
First tiny home video I've watched in a long time where the price did not terrify me ($80,000). Still should be even cheaper! All that wood, siding, flooring could not have cost more than $15k. Charging $65k for labor is absurd.
This is apparently a true tiny home build (re: ship lap design), a park model sold on trailer sales. I was pricing a slightly smaller one at $120K.. He got a great deal.😊
@@teresal5553 He may have gotten a great "deal" based on current market prices, but this industry is still greedy. I maintain that the prices are absurd, especially given the known goal of this movement, which is to save money.
@@abesapien9930 Then consider how much one like this will cost to build of similar quality traditional with appliances on a slab or piers using the same square footage.
Austin is crazy town when it comes to prices. Village Farm now at $160,000 and $750 monthly lot lease is a poor value. His place is nice, but as a senior retiree there are lots more affordable cities in Texas.
He's living good in retirement.
❤❤
Son hermosa cuanto cuesta
Very nice house. The lot rent seems pricey.
I didn’t see a washer or dryer??
You had until the bikes in the bedroom. Cannot you not build a cabino? For those kinds of things 😊
Cool, but I'd still have a storage unit. I don't have much, other than alotta books.😊
$$$$$ lot rent. I think for MOST seniors, it would have to be 1/2 of that to be affordable.
