Is it for sale?

It has to be so gratifying being able to make instruments of this quality. I wish I had the patience and time to learn how to do this sort of thing. It's absolutely amazing.
Patience, time, money for tools, machinery, and space. And then the woodworking learning curve. It would take a novice 10K and a good year to produce something of quality without experience. I'm fortunate enough to work somewhere that paints and clearcoats things daily, so my builds are limited to kits and neck/bodies but I can get the finishing done for nothing.
@@minkorrh o
Quality?
Fantastic job. How did the intination turn out. ?
Patience is the easy part . Having enough money and time to not need to work a full time job are the issues here.

That is a beautiful instrument. I have watched almost all your builds and everytime I am left in awe. This has to be one of my favorites.
Now he can say..."I love the 'sound' of coffee, in the morning".
It taste like...victory.
coffee does sound like something in the morning. The sound of a pump running through espresso, and that of steam coming out a steam wand. As well as tearing milk.
I guess in the demo at the end, he could have played part of the jingle of a competitor... ;-)
"The best part of waking up..." (is smelling my guitar)
Just to clear things up on the copper headstock... I'm aware copper oxidizes and forms a patina. Rust is specific to metals that contain iron in them like steel, not copper. I'm excited to see what the 'patina' will look like down the road.
Looks super cool! Beans as dot inlays on the fingerboard would’ve been a nice touch too. Amazing stuff, as usual from you! Keep it up man!
Looks amazing! I was just about to post about the copper patina. Should look beautiful
It turns green and almost slimy feeling
I built a coffee resin guitar a year ago. It’s call the espressocaster. Obviously it’s telecaster shaped. All vintage fender hardware and copper tuners. I’m in the middle of a Les Paul style right now. Would love to share the pics! Mugsyscustomshoppe on Instagram!
A lot of classic sculptures are cast in bronze because the copper content creates amazing patinas.
I think this is my favorite of your builds. Thoughtfulness and execution both at very high levels with this one.
I'm in absolute awe. Beautiful piece of art you've made.

Until those beans go rancid. Coffee beans contain a very volatile fatty acid in the oil and it goes bad, starts smelling sour after a while. This is why people use fresh beans.
@@robotsongs But would the beans go bad in all the epoxy?
@@HarrySuh yes. Once beans are roasted and exposed to oxygen, a ticking time bomb starts. Plus, when he's discussing the build at the end, remember that he mentioned that a lot of beans are exposed and that he didn't do a top pour to encapsulate everything.
Til he make a weed guitar....
I would seriously love one of your guitars. These are awesome man. And great playing too!

I'm sure he inhaled enough to get his caffeine buzz will working on it.
The metal body binding, the copper veneer headstock, and especially the copper epoxy inlay are super innovative ideas for a custom guitar build! I have not seen other luthiers build these ideas into a guitar.
He probably should have covered the copper parts with poly. Or eventually they’ll look green like the Statue of Liberty. But maybe that’s the patina he’s going for? He could have used cocoa to fill in the spaces between the beans! Then it would have a mocha coffee smell!
@@alphagt62 Agreed. As soon as he said it was real copper, I knew it'd develop patina pretty quickly. Surprised he was unaware of that.
